lol what, it wasn't even considered a serious injury...

Blood clots are extremely serious and are often misdiagnosed leading to very dangerous results. They can easily end a player's career especially if it's purely a blood issue just like in Bosh's case and Mirza Teletovic.

Ingram was very lucky his was a just a structural issue in his shoulder that doctors did not find right away. Thankfully they did further testing based on his description of the issue and discovered the real problem. There is always the risk of recurrence with blood clots and should he have another one his young career may be over.

definitely an lol though

This is some weird sh*t. His knee apparently tightened up during shootaround, so they took him back to the locker room and let him come back out with a brace and continue to shoot around and warm up. He said his knee did not improve and the Pelicans want him to rest until he has tests, including an MRI, on Tuesday.

No idea what this means. He was cheering on the sidelines. So maybe his knee can get loosened up without it being serious? Hopeful thinking....

I doubt he's hurt, just a rest day but they had to come up with something for resting him so they dont get fined.

It's probably precaution, the last thing they want is a star going down a while given all the injury news today.

They don't play until Thursday again, so that should be ample time for him to rest.

There are people including guys like Chris Webber that think the Pelicans' are faking Zion's injury calling it a phantom injury to manage his workload this season FWIW lol.

Right. And who really needs a meniscus, anyway.

LOL Ingram will definitely be the highest scoring player on the Pels. Jrue will be 2nd, Zion 3rd. Derrick Favors? Man come on bro

I'm thinking like 22-6-3-1-0.7 with maybe 1.5 3's on 48/36/82

Umm, so Brandon Ingram leads the team at 26ppg, Jrue 2nd at 17ppg

So far, his line looks like 26-7-4-1-1, shooting 54/47/72 with 2.6 3PTM a game.
