Thanks for letting us know. Keep the updates coming.

I guess he needed some Dame time to himself

He is playing 2K easy mode

So nobody wants to talk about the fact that Lillard just messed up his groin?  At least it comes at the all star break so that gives him a week off. But he’s got to be missing some time from the look of it.

Yeap.. good thing it's just before the ASB. He should skip the ASG and heal up for another run. He's a beast and will do everything he can to get the team to the playoffs.

Rough. I made extra effort to build a team immune to injuries, but now my main guy got hit bad. 2-3 weeks if we are lucky, but it could easily be a worse strain and cost him the season. And for me too. There is no recovery from this in fantasy.

Recent strain groins:

LeBron 6 weeks, told he pushed back too early

Curry 3 weeks

Ntilinikka few games, week at tops

Goran Dragic 3 weeks

3 weeks put him back easily on time for fantasy playoffs for me.

6 weeks I would cut him instantly.

He has not been quite the same after his return.

Our scoring had him score 101, 106 and 103 points per month Oct through Dec.

After his return he has been 85 and 92 points for Jan/Feb.

Either it has taken time to get his groove back or he returned early and is still bothered by the injury itself. Third option would be different role, but for Lillard that will not be a problem. At this point I would still be happy to get him back in 4 weeks and produce around 90-95 points (he has season average of 114, but has been around 105 in his career). But if he is pushing back too early they will pull the plug on him when Portland loses chance to compete for playoffs spot.

It is obvious that CJ and other cast have to play at least .500 ball if Dame is going to be out rest of the February. If they go on a losing streak it might not do us any good to have Lillard back in March...
