May as well move this entire thread to the assistant coach forum

Put on ur PJs ...we got a super sleeper ova here!

Why go on pornhub when you can look at sexy projections like these.

Why does a rookie need load management?

SMH

This is 2019, not 1984. Assistant coaches are about to get days off for load management soon.

In all seriousness though, I’ll take Charlotte limiting him to 28-32 mpg if that will keep him healthy for the last 6 weeks. Dude has been money so far. No one outside of the top 24 beasts for 82 games. Everyone has good and bad stretches for the season. For someone you (the general “you”, not you specifically) probably got at the end of a draft or for free off waivers, he’s killing it. I highly doubt there are players that are available on waivers that are better than him if the league is competitive even slightly.

Batum really helped him last night and is a plus for his game moving forward. He consistently gave him the ball in the post on the pick and roll switch.

I’ve seem so many times in previous games, where he would have the mismatch in the post and wouldn’t receive the ball at all. Literally pleading for the ball.

He’s only going to get better and killing already.

Despite the hate Batum gets, he's still a smart veteran that knows how to make the right play, unlike certain other Kobe wannabes on the team.

Yes this was true. I was worried Batum would take minutes from PJ but ended up helping him. Anyone worried Batum can also play the 4?  I think Miles won’t be this marginalized in future games.

Youth movement is pretty clear so you shouldn't really be worried. Maybe some games Borrego goes with the hot hand to get some wins here and there but overall his role seems very secure. And he looks much better than Bridges.

I thought Batum coming back might be a negative, but I forgot how great of a passer he is as a forward. The inbounds play where Batum gives him the alley-oop off of a screen was just delicious. Probably means bad things for Miles Bridges owners (lol like me) but excellent things for Washington owners (also me).

eh, it was arguably the worst team coming into the season versus the reigning NBA champions (minus Mr Load Management).

I'll give him a pass.  But man, that was a bad dud, even with the foul trouble.
