Trading a TE

Recommended Posts

An owner in my league is looking for TE and WR help and asked me about trading one of my TE’s. He has some interesting pieces on his team so I was looking to move one of my TE plus another piece. Do either of these trades have a chance of getting accepted or am I giving up too much?

I would definitely consider doing the Cook trade.  The running game is the most dependable part of Minnesota's offense and they're going to use Cook as much as possible to avoid making Cousins throw.  As for Bell, he wouldn't be bad to have, but I wouldn't give up Hunter Henry to get him.  The Jets are terrible and Bell is the only one producing, even though what he's producing is only about 10 to 15 points per game (according to ESPN PPR scoring formats).  However, Henry appears to be much more valuable than that.  Move a smaller piece to get Bell if that's what you decide to do.  Otherwise, leave him alone.
