Well hes obviously a hold. Would have been a better game but he entered the last couple of minutes of the 4th and missed 3 very easy shots right under the rim. Instead of 4 for 10 shooting he should have been at least 5 for 8 and who knows maybe more. Anyway hes obviously a hold.

I just hope Bagley enters the starting lineup as PF next to Holmes, so Holmes minutes trend up again....*fingerscrossed*

The one reason I could see this happening, last season, in limited time, when the Kings played a lineup of Fox/Hield/Shumpert/Bagley/WCS, they did really well. Their best lineup probably for the season. They won 15 out of 24 games when they deployed this lineup, and it does make sense. Offers a good balance of both efficient Off/Def, can dominate the glass (especially on O), and allows for one of Hield, Fox or Bagley to dominate with the ball. They just need a wing & a center who know how to play off ball enough on O, and can play good D, to maximize the other 3. Ariza seems like he’d be able to replicate or improve what Shump did in that lineup, and Holmes a much better version of what WCS brought. This could easily be the lineup they’d play majority of the minutes night to night and could even develop into something special, but would require the Kings & Walton committing a lot more time every night to.

The problem for the Kings isn’t spacing but how to maximize the players they have. They simply need to decide who they are.

It’s the tale of two completely different teams. With their current roster, they can either build on Bagley’s strengths mixing with Hield/Fox to yield the best results or they have to basically be the more spaced team with Fox/Hield + Barnes/Bjelica/Bog & Holmes each soaking up 25+ min.

The problem for Holmes is the way the Kings are operating since Bagley returned is using Bagley the completely wrong way. They’re not playing Holmes & him on the floor, and when Bagley goes in it just makes everyone worse because the personnel surrounding him only works with Holmes.

They can do both, but ultimately one of those versions of the Kings will require commitment in either direction because the way they use Bagley going to completely stall his development (which wouldn’t surprise me, these are the Kings). They’re probably going to need to either totally f--- up Bagley or make it clear they’re trading one of Barnes or Bogdon to make this work.

The experiment should be over. Insert Dedmon to starting lineup alongside Bagley. Holmes can play 15-20 minutes off the bench. Bjelica can back up Bagley for 15-20 minutes. Problem solved.

You should be an Espn analyst on First Take.

As long as the stocks are there more often than not, easy hold.  Especially now that any "sell high" window is officially closed.

Can we start a gofundme to make you coach of the kings

Did someone see the game?

How many minutes did Holmes and Bagley play together?

Maybe the Holmes train speeds up again?

24 minutes thats all I know.

One optimism is that he is getting used to his current role and trying to get as much out of those limited time.
