Drop OG for Boucher?

Recommended Posts

Strong hold on OG.  He was a nice surprise and he's out with a smaller injury now.  Boucher's gonna benefit with his injury, as well as Ibaka's and though his per-minute production is fantastic, I wouldn't want to dump a proven asset for Boucher since he's buoyed temporarily

FYI

In case you're just asking who has more value long term, its OG no brainer. Aside from production to date, he's a core asset for the Raptors moving forward and before Siakam broke out last year, OG was regarded as their best young prospect.

Boucher is a pleasant surprise g-league flyer whose real life upside is establishing himself as a rotation player. OG is gonna get 30+ mpg ROS and is going to be afforded ever opportunity to take the type of step Siakam took last year.

Definitely don't drop OG. He may be back as soon as tomorrow and he pretty much has the starting SF spot locked up for the rest of the season. If anything, he could get better with growing confidence. Stocks will always be there and his offensive game is improving. Boucher is a good short-term pick-up, but his value will take a big hit when Ibaka is back.
