David Johnson worth a #1 waiver?

Recommended Posts

Certainly not a #1 waiver.

As a free agent, I think he has entered the category of high-upside-handcuff, so similar value to a Pollard, Armstead or Mattison.  If you can get him as a free agent for someone you're not planning to start the rest of the way, he might be worth a dart throw, but don't spend any waiver or FAAB on him.

(I say this sighing, as an owner who drafted him #4 overall this year.  He's still on my roster, as I cling to a slimming hope that he will have any value the rest of the way..)
