Week 14 WR Help - WHIR

Recommended Posts

10 team 0.5PPR - need help deciding which three WRs to start. The obvious sentiment is that you can't bench Tyreek Hill, but considering I'm also starting Kelce I'm worried it could sink me.

My WR options:

Tyreek Hill @ NE

Julian Edelman vs. KC

DeAndre Hopkins vs. DEN

DJ Moore @ ATL

My team:

QB: Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins

RB: Aaron Jones, Saquon Barkley, Tevin Coleman, James White, Alexander Mattison

WR: Tyreek Hill, DeAndre Hopkins, Julian Edelman, DJ Moore

TE: Travis Kelce, Jacob Hollister

K: Greg Zuerlein

DST: Eagles

This is tough. Tyreek is going to be shadowed by Gilmore so his line may take a hit, but he can go off at any point.

I think the biggest upside would be Hill, Hopkins, Moore so I would choose that in a tough matchup.

If I wanted to play it safe Id go Hopkins, Moore, Edelman.

All 4 are pretty studly.  I think I'd rank them Edelman > Moore >  Hopkins > Hill.

Edelman is PPR gold, whereas Hill is dependent on big plays (only 38 catches this year in 8 games). Edelman and Hopkins both have 80+ and Moore has 74 (granted, in more games).  Moore has been steady as a rock, with at least 6 catches for 70 yards in 7 of last 8 games.  So to me.... it's Hopkins against Chris Harris and a tough DEN DEF, or Hill against Stephon Gilmore and a tough Pats DEF.  I choose Hopkins based on volume.
