Dynasty Stashes for 2020

Recommended Posts

This is only for deep bench leagues, but I just happened to see Isaiah Crowell on the free agent wire in my league. If I’m not mistaken, he just signed a 1-year deal with Oakland. Can be stashed on IR for free right now on the chance he goes somewhere and can make any kind of impact.

Anthony Miller - He's had the 4th highest number of targets over the past 4 weeks and has been performing as a top 10 WR.  Preston Williams - This guy was rolling before landing on the IR.  A Par

Blake Jarwin TE Cowboys. Witten's contract is up at the end of the year, if he gets the full time gig - look out.

Deonte Harris (mini Tyreek) could be the no 2 guy in NO imo next year

Very interesting player, mostly from the standpoint that I didn't think most (even hardcore) players knew who he was.

Dude is absolutely electric on returns and you see flashes with the jet sweeps. He is prob the only guy in the league that can possibly win a race with Tyreek or Hardman.

Just 5'6" so tough to ever see him making the jump to full time type of WR?

I think there are a few tight ends out there that might have a breakout year next year.

Jonnu Smith, Chris Herndon, TJ Hockenson, Mike Gesicki and Irv Smith

Some wide receivers to keep an eye on,

Auden Tate depending on where AJ goes, Mecole Hardman (I think he'll be involved way more next year) and N'Keal Harry (they need someone to step up).

I'd also check on Damien Harris since Sony doesn't seem like the answer.

I'll go with three guys I picked up here late season:

Justin Jackson

Auden Tate (IR)

Bryce Love (IR)

All three might be a starter next September.

Edit: here's a bonus guy I forgot because I've had him all season.

Jalen Hurd (IR)

Jalen Hurd (IR)

Hurd comes in at 6'4" and 230 pounds.  He sounds like a tank.  I would imagine he could give a lot of smaller DB's fits if he has good elevation as well.

He's pretty much Mega (Percy) Harvin.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Just 441 yards short of becoming the University of Tennessee's all-time leading rusher, Jalen Hurd made the sharpest and most surprising cut of his career.

Midway through his junior season with the Volunteers, Hurd abruptly abandoned his path to becoming a Volunteers legend and, on a bigger scale, an NFL running back.

In part because he wanted a longer, less punishing career than that of an NFL running back and in part because he liked the idea of making big plays on a more consistent basis, Hurd transferred to Baylor with the idea of becoming a wide receiver capable of doing just about anything on a football field.

Quote

In an NFL increasingly focused on matchups, Hurd transformed from workhorse running back in the mold of Eddie George (Hurd's favorite player as a kid) to multipurpose weapon in the eyes of coaches, general managers and talent evaluators. His tape became a smorgasbord of possibility for the game's brightest offensive minds. He made more than a half-dozen pre-draft visits and spent time at each stop discussing how he might fit into the offense.

It was enough for the San Francisco 49ers to use the No. 67 overall pick on Hurd, with designs on making him one of coach Kyle Shanahan's primary offensive chess pieces.

"I have been at slot. I can play on the outside. Obviously I have a running back background, so there's not really any limit to me on the offensive side," Hurd said.

Although the 49ers had already drafted receiver Deebo Samuel in the second round, Shanahan saw Hurd as the type of versatile player who is capable of creating mismatches from just about anywhere on the field.

I just dropped him today, lol.

I've been saying for years that he just needed an opportunity. He finally got it with Penny out, and he fell on his face. He'll sign somewhere in the offseason as a depth RB, but I can't see him reaching his potential at this point. I think he'll be 27 at the start of next season.

Any thoughts on another large WR option in Miles Boykin (Ravens WR)?  6'4" and 220 pounds, was a combine freak but that doesn't always necessarily translate to on-field dominance.

Considered him too. I think best case: Kenny Britt.

Another one of the most interesting things about Hurd was that he was being given TE (flanker type) reps in training camp too. Not out of the question we could see him on the field in several different positions and even gain additional eligibility, perhaps?

Yeah, one thing that puts him below a guy like Hurd for me is the fact that I read he has trouble getting separation off the line.  They say for a guy his size he should be getting off the line pretty easy.  Hurd doesn't seem like the fastest dude in the world (I think he clocked in at 4.60 at the combine), but they say his route running is already very impressive and he knows how to use his body to create separation from the defender.  The fact that he was a RB also makes me think he'll be solid in the YAC area too.

They would be a big boost if he were WR, TE or crazier RB, WR, TE

Boykin is out we are seeing the ravens operate at a high level and hes not even a speck

Prosise is a fa the talent is there if he can find his way to say the buccs lions or redskins he could become a thing... Seattle didn't cut him free and had many an opportunity because if some reason....cause hes talented

Myles gaskin could be the guy for the phins the next 2 weeks will dictate but came out of nowhere to play 34 snaps to match laird's 34 snaps and looked better...

Another guy and this is most likely nothing but devontae Booker but hes a guy that will be available cheap and can catch some passes...same teams as prosise... could add chargers in that mix
