THE_MAGIC_MAN 726
Gave up Gurley & CeeDee for David Johnson & Devante Parker. 1PPR I matchup with the team I traded with, so I will use Parker against him this week if Preston is out. Gurley & CeeDee both on Bye week 10. I think I pulled a fast one on him... Edited November 9, 2020 by THE_MAGIC_MAN

Was desperate for bodies as I lost Jamaal Williams (COVID), Aaron Jones (calf), Zeke (his QB has COVID), Ridley (possibly out), Godwin (possibly out), and Cooper (his QB has COVID. My starting lineup this week may consist of Jackson, Hasty, AND Gus at RB/RB/Flex. Yikes. Well that didn't work

You potentially gave up a WR1 still in his prime for a backup QB. Banking on Mostert and Wilson is also a pretty big gamble. If the Niners add anyone in free agency or the draft, that whole backfield becomes a mess. You now have to dodge bullets all offseason for that to pay off.

You now have to dodge bullets all offseason for that to pay off. Right on, appreciate the feedback. And I realize everyone sees things differently. Looking to land a premier RB or WR at 1:04. We must start: 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 Flex and 1 SF. And you and I obviously disagree on Hurts "being the backup" at least enough for me to "gamble" on the outcome, for the price I paid. *draft picks, especially future picks IMHO are like candy to throw out from the float at a parade. With it being TE Premium, my #2 TE Irv Smith looks to be a decent #4-5WR/flex (or SF if need be) and I have: Adams/Higgins/Aiyuk/Claypool...DPJones. I ran last season with only JRobinson in the back field along with the best option of the week for my #2 RB (traded for RB AJones late, so he really didn't affect any outcome...and moved him + 2:01/15th overall for 1:04) So IF I land a premier RB at 1:04, all those RBs settle in at the #2. IF I land a premier WR than I am set for longevity at the position, more so than with Golladay. RE: Golladay While I am a BIG fan, I do not like the situation in DET if he is franchised. And not sure where he'd end up if he isn't franchised, so those would be some of those bullets to dodge...also, I won last year with next to zero production from Golladay, and I am a "what have you done for me lately " kinda' guy. I actually like RB JWilson's talents, always have. And we saw what Mostert (when healthy) can do, so those two (and later picks) trump ZMoss and the 3rd + what I gave for WIlson IMHO. My IDPs are top 3 if not the best (I am also basing this off my IDP knowledge vs the rest of league.) 🍻

If you can land a stud RB, and Hurts is the dude, then your team looks really nice. I'm not saying I think those trades were necessarily bad, just too risky for my liking. If they pay off, you'll reap some sweet rewards.
