They will either draft or sign a pass-catcher out of the backfield.

Ok, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. If they depend on a rookie pass catcher taken late in the draft it bodes well for Henry.

It bodes even better that they have already passed on most the better pass catchers that were available already.

while devonta freeman looked like a shadow of himself in 2019, he could prove just as annoying as dion lewis should the titans sign him. just boding.

That's fair, but Freeman looked about like Dion Lewis last year.

Titans wouldn't even bite on JD McKissic so I don't know that they would Freeman but we shall see.

the titans may want to rest henry when they clinch the AFC south, after he's racked up 2000 yards. (as much as i like stills, hard to believe deshaun watson can keep the texans on pace with fuller playing 3 or 4 games.) enter devonta freeman, shady, or carlos hyde to clean up in tennesee?  wouldn't be surprised to see a veteran signing along with a latter round rookie. fluellen is not depth.

oddly enough, where freeman and shady looked mold-ridden and shaky, hyde actually looked good last season. of the three, wouldn't mind seeing hyde on the titans, because while freeman's and shady's hands are reputable and may push for receptions vs henry, hyde would only be a COP. don't want to see anyone interfering with the screen pass to the locomotive.

defensively, loved the way rashaan evans played last season, but i see jeffery simons as the difference-maker in 2020, and i imagine he'll help to create opportunities for henry. 25 weeks until kickoff.

They won't sign another RB off the streets, Titans will ride Henry the whole season.

Ride until I die is going to be the motto. Henry has only had 2 high seasons with carries 2015 at Bama and last season. He is going to get that rock heavily to protect the Rock Tanne. Drafting this guy heavily this year between 8-15.

they’ll sign a rb and draft one most likely.

What do you mean? Look at their depth

Dalyn Dawkins, Khari Blasingame, Shaun Wilson.

Im not sure who any of these people are tbh

Nailed it Bhawks

Any team with postseason aspirations would be nuts to rely on one proven rb.

I thought Tennessee drafted Alex Barnes last season?

I think they will draft another RB in a later round.

They cut him before the season started.

There are still plenty of cheap third-down specialists floating around in FA at the moment.  I imagine they’ll sign one of their choosing to a short-term deal and draft a back as well.

Tbh, I hope they dont sign anyone of note and see how Henry does on all three downs. We need more of them in fantasy. Might as well run him into the ground.

From what I have read they are drafting an oline man with their first pick.

He is right, it's the smart business move for an organization to do this because of how many bad deals other organizations have done in the past.

Some RBs are different than the others. Because of bad deals other organizations have made it will have a negative effect on Henry. There are RBs who are only looking for a payday and they start protecting their bodies more after they get paid like Leveon Bell, David Johnson, Todd Gurley, and the list goes on. I think the mistake that Bucky Brooks and many people are making is putting Henry into that category. Henry is now and always has been the exception to the rule. So while it is probably prudent to not pay many RBs top money I don't think that applies to Henry. It sucks for Henry because he will not get the long term contract that many of those guys got but he will get back to back franchise tags worth 10 million+ and will still sign another 3 year deal after that, he won't hold out and will be a team guy the entire time.

Really?  I honestly believe that Jon Robinson is going to work out a long-term deal with him - even though I agree with Brooks that it doesn’t make “sense” from a strictly business perspective.  I think he genuinely wants to reward Henry for his service and amazing accomplishments, and ensure that he remains a Titan for most if not all of his career.

Well, I do think a contract can get done mostly because I do not think Henry will demand he get paid the most. He understands the value of being a team member so the likelihood that they reach a long term agreement is pretty high. In a worst case scenario they would franchise him twice and let him go after that but I think Henry will be fine not making the team break the bank to get himself a longer term deal.

Whats his worth in Dynasty leagues?

I’d peg it right around his current value - he’s only 26 and the Titans seem committed to him for the next few years at least.

FTFY

Prioritizing Tannehill over him for the multiyear deal says it all.

I can see most of y’all didn’t win your leagues last year. Freeman was a beast during fantasy Super Bowl week.

Henry is a classic franchise and run into the ground player. Drafting someone like Jonathan Taylor would only cement that belief.

Thank you, but all the same, what I wrote didn’t need any fixing.

Lol, so you think Tennessee will draft Jonathan Taylor?

That's rich.

Carolina should draft DeAndre Swift.

Just to show you how ridiculous that sounded.
