1. CMC

2. Barkley

3. Henry

Come at me, bro

In standard that’s fine I suppose. I mean I have Henry #7 in half PPR so it’s not a crazy reach either at this point.

Same as usual.

Just gauging value of the big fella.

He isn't like CMC where there is nothing to discuss.

You take that back right this instant !!

Shame , shame, shame

And in your own house nonetheless 😯

Double shame

🤔

Good point.

If Henry makes it to 45 receptions for 500 yards and 3 TDs with his normal rushing numbers then Henry will become the undisputed #1 RB for fantasy 👀

If my grandma had wheels, she'd be a fire truck.

Henry didn't have 45 rec in the past 3 seasons combined with 2 head coaches and 3 different OC. I guess it's not completely impossible, but I doubt it.

Interesting analysis.

I thought the Titans spent the last 2 seasons trying to justify a bloated contract to an overrated pass catching back that never proved fruitful.

I guess it's plausible that a rookie 3rd round RB will come in after an offseason of virtual mini camps and meetings and take all meaningful and relevant pass blocking and pass catching assignments and be way more successful at it than Henry but I doubt it.

Indeed, you have a point that a lot in this offense is going to depend on whether they can have a decent camp. Also, I admit you've been right before about Henry, so... let's see :)

Rank speculation but the lack of experience behind him is interesting. Most rookies face a pretty steep learning curve in the pass pro department.

I watched highlights of Darrington Evans in Apalachian @ South Carolina to see how he did in that respect (pass pro). I saw one pass pro which he almost blew, and some play action that wasn't very convincing, and I saw him pop up on defense (he even got a tackle). Seems like a versatile player, and a kid that works hard, but he'll have a LOT to learn in the NFL.

According to a Silva tweet I read yesterday:

"Tenn has Sharp Football's second softest schedule based on sportsbook Win totals, Henry fares incredibly well in positive game scripts, his career YPC average goes from 4.1 when his team is tied/trailing v 5.82 when with a lead."

The king will surely deliver those stats in 2020, get ready to bow down.

This is pretty dumb considering he is going to be a Seahawk when the season starts.

I have few always-do-this rules in FF, but I do have this one: NEVER draft someone coming off of a career year. I have not and it has almost always worked out well, often beautifully, when I watch someone overpay because they are chasing last year. He was on my team and the main reason I had a chance at the playoffs (freaking Barkley! if he did even half as well as expected I was a SB lock), but I guaranteed someone will pay more for him than I am willing.

I get the idea behind it, but I think you are taking it too far or you just have a very subjective definition of career year. A lot of consensus first rounders are typically coming off their best year in their career. Will you not take CMC, because last year was a career year for him? He set career highs in rushing, receiving, and touchdowns. Are you just going to say that McCaffrey is trending up? Henry has been doing the same thing.

CMC is the clear first pick and I have Henry as my 6th rb (after CMC, saquan, zeke, dalvin, and kamara) and would be happy with Henry as my RB1. I may even be able to be convinced to take him above dalvin (particularly if the risk of holding out still seems real) and kamara by the time my draft rolls around.

So, if I am hearing you correctly you should not have drafted Barkley last year cause he was coming off of a career year the year before?

This year you are staying away from Chubb and cook because they had career years last year?

Henry had a career season in 2018. Should he have not been drafted in 2019?

Solid strategy, guys never put up back to back good years unless they do.
