Lol, they were incredibly far behind the whole game and he got 1 lone target.  Just stating facts.  He needs 25+ carries in a favorable game script to do anything.  If they're behind, you're in for a real stinker unlike most RB's in the league.

He wasnt getting many targets anyway. They are saving him for the playoffs. Today they didnt want to risk it until it was a guarantee they were back in the game. [...]

  1. Oof, volume dependent and game script dependent RB.  Not gonna do much unless he gets 25+ carries a game, as he's useless in the passing game if they're behind.

Pretty silly to come in anytime he has a down game and repeat this, he's a top 3 back in standard scoring and I'll take that all day long.

Hahaha. He's a terrible runner and gets lucky based on situation. Dude is embarrassing. Well deserved garbage points game. Hope he continues to ruin teams dreams come playoff time.

What is your axe to grind here, I simply fail to understand how anyone could be disappointed in what Henry has done?

Maybe he accidentally dropped him. But yeah hard to understand the angle.

Volume dependent RB, unlike an RB such as Kamara.

Well Kamara is a pass catching back and Henry isnt so. Thats like saying "Barry Sanders isnt the same as The Bus"... well thats a no brainer. You draft Henry for the volume. You see Kamara targets getting smaller? Without the endzone what was he the past 2 weeks. No need to be salty because you didnt get Henry, but I take him over almost any RB come playoff time and that's when it matters

Why would I be salty when I have the #1 RB in fantasy?  Oooof.  I draft RB's who get the volume no matter what the game script is.  Henry is not this type of RB.

He's hyped up on RotoWorld forums as if he's the next Barry Sanders. When in reality he's a poor runner who can only operate with gaping holes and 1st and goal on the 1 touchdown dives where he luckily sticks the ball over the line. And has horrible nicknames such as "King Hendry" when he doesn't deserve the king title. Plus his hair makes any sane person want to vomit when it looks like a rats tail.

He is a sub average runner who gets too much praise when he'll be an afterthought in the history of running backs because he's nothing special and is only fantasy relevant. An easy target for people like me to talk **** about because he's vulnerable to games like today because he's easily scripted out of a game. He doesn't deserve the attention.

As I said, what happened to Kamaras targets the last two weeks? This isnt the Kamara thread, if you want to gloat about drafting the "number 1 RB" go to that thread. Henry is a beast, he had a bad game but that was a result of the entire offense being bad. Theres positive and negatives to every RB. Kamara believe it or not has some, Cook as well.

You mean the week that the Saints played a team led by QB Kendall Hinton?  I'm surprised they even let Murray carry the load instead of seeing what Ty Monty still has left.  I wasn't gloating so much as I was just assuring you that there's no salt involved.  You'll find a whole lot of DHC in the Kamara thread touting how he's "QB dependent," so i'd just recommend you familiarize yourself with the RW board a little more.  You'd think that if Henry was such a beast they'd try to feed him targets to help get him back in the game, but as we've seen if they're trailing they completely move away from him.  I don't subscribe to your reasoning about 'saving him' because they're in a highly contentious position trying to secure their hold on the division.  Luckily he has a pretty easy schedule ahead, and he'll get to make something of his 35 carries a game.  Totally volume and game dependent RB though.

They were down 4 touchdowns and tannehill couldnt get it going. If their gameplan is to run first and they are down a significant margin, Henry isnt seeing the volume. What about Kamara's 3 targets today? Kamara had several runs today which were meant for the Murray role in power running through the trenches, and he came through on a lot of them. Im not saying he isnt good, but youre super confident without getting on the context of the games. Henry is a power runner, not a receiving back. As I said before youre comparing apples to oranges. If Brees isnt back, Henry> Kamara all the way

Well idk. Just a reminder, in reality, this guy whom you refer too as a sub average runner just won the Rushing title last year so.... I’m not quite sure how he would ever become an afterthought in the history of RB’s. That title is set in stone.

I'm not a Henry truther with DHC.  But come on.  A Sub average runner??? Henry is a stud but thats the thing with RB's that don't catch passes  You can be a stud and be written out of the gameplan easily if your team gets down early..  Games like this will only happen once or twice a year.  Honestly if your a Henry owner just be happy in happened week13 not in playoffs.

Standard scoring, last 3 weeks (counting today) Kamara has scored 10.5, 5.4 and 15.7 points. He was absolutely game scripted all to hell. Him not being used much due to the Broncos match up is the damn definition of being game scripted out. Due to the matchup, they didn't need to use him. He was not used. He was not productive.

In that same period Henry put up 19.3, 36.5, and 4.9 points. They're both top tier RB 1s, 2 of the top 3 going this season (rank them however you want to). All this talk in here about "actually Henry isn't that good a RB cause every once in awhile he has a bad game" is insane. He's a beast. Arguing otherwise is just completely ignoring facts.

Everybody's going to have a **** game every once in awhile. Doesn't mean they're JAG.
