DeVante Parker 2020 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Stud as usual, but the blowout really killed his ceiling for fantasy purposes. I'm assuming they held him out the second half because of the blowout, but did anyone that watch see an injury or anything? Seems like he never came out of the locker room after the first half.

Emergence of Williams might hurt going forward though...

If you're not starting him when he's healthy and in a primetime matchup between two bad defensive teams then when would you even start him? Guys are talking about a rookie cornerback? Really? Pretty m

Injury? Didn’t play 2nd half last week, seems to be always dealing with injuries. Anyone buying?

This is not accurate.  Parker lead all WRs in snaps in week 5

Hmm ok, interesting. I was watching most of the game and I swear I just didn't see him in for most of the 3rd and 4th. Guess it was likely just the 4th and they probably took out the other starting receivers as well.

Week 1, 37%, was that injury related, I'm figuring it must have been. Thanks.

Thoughts on Tua taking over and what it might mean for the WR's?  Maybe Tua doesn't happen, but seems to be a matter of time.  It would seem Parker would be a WR2/3 ROS whenever healthy.

If it's groin he should be fine after the BYE. Hopefully they get in some competitive games so Parker can ball out... these first quarter blowouts just mean Miami can coast. Spread the ball around for fun, feed the RBs.

Injuries from yesterday we're watching:

* DeVante Parker (groin)

Any word on this guy?  Feels like another season filled with the injury bug.  He never seems 100% healthy.

We probably won't hear much until after next week because they go on BYE. Groin injuries are usually 1-2 weeks at most though, so I'd expect him to be fine for week 8. It is worrying that he can't seem to finish a game and Miami pulls him out out of caution in these blowouts.

No, it is the perfect time to sit players who arent 100%. Why risk further injury?

I'm saying "worrying" as a fantasy asset not worrying in real life rofl. Of course it's great that Miami pulls him out in blowouts for their sake, that's a complete no brainer. I'm just speaking from a fantasy perspective. If he gets pulled out as a precautionary measure in most games, we have to bake that into his value going forward when deciding what to do with him.
