Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Returns to practice

Hopkins (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Hopkins missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but there hasn't been any other indication his ankle injury is significant. He handled a full workload in Monday's 38-10 win over Dallas, catching two of eight targets for 73 yards. The Cardinals should have Hopkins available Sunday night against the Seahawks.

Oh, bizarre.  Rotoworld was reporting no practice for him this week earlier today:

"Kingsbury said Hopkins' ankle injury has lingered. "Hoping he can have the bye and really clear that thing up,” Kingsbury said. Hopkins hasn't practiced this week. For most players, that would mean there's almost no chance of playing. Not so for Hopkins, who missed an entire week of practice before playing against the Jets this season. Still, fantasy players should watch Hopkins' status on Sunday. "

that blurb was from cbs, but they just updated with this one:

Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Questionable for NFC West battle

Hopkins (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Given his history of playing through nagging injuries, Hopkins' return to the practice field Friday -- albeit as a limited participant -- would seem to put him on track for the Sunday night battle between NFC West playoff contenders. An 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff is suboptimal for fantasy purposes, as there's some chance Hopkins' status could remain up in the air until the Cardinals release their inactive list around 6:50 p.m. ET. In the event of a Hopkins absence, KeeSean Johnson and Andy Isabella presumably would take over the vacated snaps, while it would be more of a team-wide effort to replace the 31.8 percent target share.

he didn't practice at all leading up to the Detroit game ... not even a limited practice - he was DNP all week, and was a true "GTD" that day.

he played and went 7/41/0 ... he was obviously bothered, but he played ... i would expect him to be active Sunday night - if he's starting for 'Zona, he's starting for me.

Larry Fitz, KeeSean, or Isabella - who would benefit the most?

Isabella has by far the most upside and would be the only one I'd be interested in starting.

Christian Kirk (by far). Even when Nuke plays, Kirk has high upside based on the last couple weeks and this weeks incredible matchup.

Yes, but he was not in the question asked and is probably already owned.

Well...that was disappointing. 3 targets? Anybody that watched the game, was Miami rolling double coverage to him all game and he wasn’t able to get open, or was Kyler just looking elsewhere?

There were a few penalties too.

Must have been 50+ yards worth of pass interference penalties on him. I think Howard's ego got the best of him but hey they got the W I guess. Hopefully the Cardinals staff can figure out that they are 0-2 when Nuk gets less than 50 yards.

He could get open, they just seemed intent on using him as a decoy today for whatever reason.  They didnt move him around or get creative at all.  Kyler only looked at the side of the field Xavien wasn't on.

Howard couldn’t clamp him, so a lot of PI calls.

But Kirk has been the guy for the last two weeks.

Out only saving grace is they’ve lost the last two games and Nuk happens to have under 5-6 targets the past two weeks.

Good QBs and coordinators find a way to get their studs the ball.
