Tomei7 591
He needs to rest this week and then he has the bye week before the PIT/WSH games which will be tough in itself. We need a healthy Mixon especially with a nice schedule weeks 12-16 NYG MIA DAL PIT HOU, only tough matchup will be Pitt wk 15. Drafting/Owning Mixon at 1st was a question for many including myself (I even tried trading him a few times, everyone denying me, glad they did), but now it’s starting to look very promising, let Mixon rest please, it will only benefit later. I’m glad I got this guy and I think if healthy can do well for us in the final stretch. Edited October 29, 2020 by Tomei7

ludawg23 1,982
Arrow pointing down - if Gio has another solid game this weekend, no doubt he will earn a bigger piece of the pie going forward. Getting major props from Burrow as well for his leadership. https://www.cincyjungle.com/2020/10/29/21539700/bengals-news-joe-burrow-commends-giovani-bernards-leadership-role-within-offense

griffin727 950
It's not like the Bengals didn't know what they had with Gio. He's been on the team for ******** ever. I doubt much changes once Mixon is healthy again.
Brettg57 732
Can they just declare him out already? Since we all know he isn’t playing anyway and can put him back in the IR spot.

TwoCan Sam 293
Mixon is the guy. His contract proves that. His o-line is the only reason he’s not putting up 100 yard games weekly. as far as his injury goes, Taylor and the staff are just being cute by being secretive. Same as Sanders’ situation in Philly. I’d expect Mixon to be ready to rock week 10, otherwise they’re doing themselves a disservice with their $48M man.
Sternes 5,010
Why even bring him back this year? By the team he is good to go, say two games from now the team might already be eliminated from the playoffs. Him and Burrow are the future. Rest him up for next year and have a gameplan with the additional draft picks to be competitive. 1

Why not just rest up Burrows, Higgins, Boyd, etc. if they're looking to be competitive next year. Edited October 29, 2020 by Colonel Forbin

He wants a free RB2/3 at someone's expense. 2

It can easily take a month to recover from and is easy to aggravate. The last thing I'd want for him as a player is to turn it into a bigger injury in a losing year and it roll into next year. If he comes back after the bye that will be pretty much a month on the shelf They gonna save their RB for a possible SB run in a few years? They should focus on winning a game now and shedding the pathetic losing attitude that’s ingrained in the organization
