Honestly I would feel better about starting Gio knowing that he will be the defacto number 1. If Mixon were to play who knows if he'd get his normal number of touches or if it'd be closer to a 50/50 split in which case neither would be worth starting, especially in this matchup.

Mixon is easily a Top 5/10 RB talent wise, however, he’s on a terrible team, with a terrible OL, with terrible clueless coaches in a terrible organization that don’t know wtf they’re doing.

This dude is gonna shut up ALL the haters this week with a phenomenal matchup on tap...watch.     bold prediction: 14 carries, 64 yards rushing, 3 receptions for 23 yards.  BOOK IT

Does anybody reeeeally want to start him coming off a foot injury where he didn't practice earlier in the week against this Steelers defense? Honestly if he sits another week it'll both help to ensure his full recover AND help us to not all make a bad decision.

Here's a follow up to my previous post...this guy seems pretty optimistic.

Yes, but he's not a doctor or rehab specialist.  He just has eyes and happens to be able to see practice.

It's Wednesday.  The guy is in sweatshirt.  Not practicing with the team.  Doing "rehab" work.

Not a great sign for Sunday.  Not a great sign coming out a bye that he's not ready to go.

Who really wants him to play Sunday? I’d rather have him play next week instead of against the Steelers

I kept Gio but it cost me. Would rather Mixon dodge the blood bath and come back healthy next week.

If Big Ben doesn't get cleared though... Nati could win the game.

I may be in the small minority,  but I dont see this as a shy away matchup. Pittsburgh has been seeming vulnerable to me.

Agree.

Dallas O line isn't what it used to be, had a no name at QB, and Pollard/Zeke ripped holes in them.

Believe PIT may have lost a key LB. Forget his name.

how concerning do you guys think this is? I just traded for Mixon last week thinking he would be 100% after their bye. Do we need to make back up plans to try and trade for Gio now or do we think Mixon will be back next week atleast?

TBD til tomorrow. Lots of their guys had LPs today and off bye that's usual. However, it's mildly concerning at best.
