a SportsLine NFL oddsmakers: Which team will Leonard Fournette play for in 2020?

  • Washington +300
  • New England +350
  • Chicago +400
  • Philadelphia +400
  • Seattle +600
  • Pittsburgh +700
  • Tampa Bay +900
  • Miami +1100

And what are the odds that Fournette plays nowhere in 2020?

It’s a total Bears thing to do here, killing Montgomery’s value

Also what about Jets, if Lev Bell gets cut and replaced by Fournette.

Anything could happen because it's the Jets and rational thinking isn't their best attribute.  That being said, even they would seem to not be dumb enough to cut a dude with a huge salary and dubious production and swallow the cap hit, then turn around to replace him with a guy who's not a clear upgrade and use $4m additional cap space to make all this happen.  If anything they'd simply claim LF off waivers and keep both him and Bell on the roster to get around middling to low RB2 production combined between them, that's a very Jets-like thing to do.

For me it’s a good thing

jags were the worst spot

good thing for LF

He needs volume to produce and he will probably wont get that anywhere but Jax

I think Atlanta makes sense.

Fournette is basically a grenade now. Hopefully he doesnt land on a good team to f--- up the backfield.

It amazes It amazes me that people are spending 3rd round draft capital on these guys when WR like Golladay and Evans are available.

Just had this same argument yesterday with a friend. Let them load up on subpar rbs and I’ll take elite wrs. This is even happening in round 2 imo.

This scenario at draft time...

I for one know why a goddamn owner would select LF in the third round.
Michael Thomas 1st round
Tyreek Hill or Julio 2nd

And I was all in on LF last year and was very disappointed

If the Jags were trying to trade Fournette before the draft, it's interesting that he didn't end up with one of his former offensive coordinators that could "vouch" for him.

Fournette had some of his most productive games with Nathanal Hackett who is the OC of the Packers.

Instead of using a 2nd rounder on AJ Dillion, why wouldn't they trade a 6th for Fournette?

Unless Hackett said Fournette is a locker room cancer...

John DeFilippo is currently the QB coach for the Bears who seem to be in need of a RB.   He was the Jags OC last year.

You'd think the Bears would be interested in Fournette right now...

Unless DeFilippo said Fournette is a locker room cancer...

Wherever Fournette goes he’s going to ruin the lead backs value by turning it into a committee.  The only place that’s not true is New England because they don’t really have a lead back.

Praying ... please don’t go to ...... (insert team) ...

They couldn't get anything for the guy. If he lands somewhere, is he going to take that carries away from who they have? Seems unlikely. He looks like he's on Eddy Lacy's career path: lots of hype that couldn't be met and ultimately washed out of the league.

Jets aren't cutting Bell this season.   Gase issues with Bell are likely related to blow, the Jets GM has a more rational POV, he doesn't want to spend that much cap space at RB.

stupid me, took him at the beg of the 4th rd in my draft smh

Chalk it up as bad luck and it may be a blessing in disguise. He wasn't going to light the world on fire and now you may have a free slot to play with. This rookie class will offer up sleepers that become studs. This class feels special but it might take until early October to see it really develop.
