I agree he likely won’t get the same volume/targets but in the right situation with better blocking and a good passing attack (like, say, Tampa Bay), the same production can still be there, or better. No one wants his horrible work ethic (Bortles had to consistently tell him where to line up bc he refused to learn the playbook) and below average receiving chops at his bloated salary. Have zero shares of this guy, but just funny to hear people talk negatively about his receiving when he was top 5 in both receptions and receiving yards for RBs last year... 1

And top-2 in volume...he underperformed his workload. A decent RB would have finished minimum top 3 last year with the role he had...he couldn’t even finish top 5.

Hell they only averaged .2 YPC more than Fournette. Yeah its not like those guys have been more efficient with their touches in their career so far... Fournette was basically Melvin Gordon last season that was allergic to the endzone. He's a decent RB but he's not dynamic. Idk why people think otherwise.

Agree to disagree I guess. 4.3 YPC behind that crap line with defenses mostly stacking the box is not underperforming in my eyes. To each their own. Just hoping the dude lands in a situation where he’ll have enough touches and better players around him. Can’t be much worse as far as that goes.

Yeah he played on a **** offense last year with a rookie QB and no other weapons. Still finished as 7th overall RB. What’s your agenda lol

BrianM 1,238
Now that literally no team wanted to trade for him, today is the day we can truly refer to Leonard Fournette as a JAG Edited September 1, 2020 by BrianM

Fried Pork Grind 524
This guy couldn’t learn the Jags playbook in 3 years, anyone that thinks he will learn another teams in 2 weeks needs either serious medication or seriously needs to get off the medication.
