They don't like to win?

My point exactly. Behind Fitz, they won some games. Meaning, if they didn't believe the move was at LEAST lateral, the support would NOT be there. I can't imagine players going public with support for a rookie change (midweek) over a veteran who brings charisma, energy, and excitement. Translation: They must believe this kid can exceed Fitz's production and leadership. Otherwise, they don't make this move until they are realistically out of contention and the players certainly don't come out and comment on it.

Anyone have any reads on this guy’s rushing ability? I know he is athletic and agile compared to Fitz (who can scoot in his own right), but traditionally speaking the rookie QBs that are most successful from a fantasy perspective are ones that can prop up their weekly output with consistent rushing yds/tds. How are we comparing Tua against the rookie years of guys like Kyler or Cam?

FitzMagic is upset he lost the job?  Didn't he realize he was a "slump buster" or "practice girl?"  Come on, man, Tua was essentially the #1 pick in the draft who fell a bit because of injury concerns.  FitzMagic should be happy to have had gotten to ball out for a few games; it'll set him up nicely for his next half-year gig on a team desperate for a starter.

Dolphins are heartless. They don't deserve FitzMagic.

Anyone that watched him in college - Any tendencies on dump offs to his RBs?

Yes, Tua will find the open man. He dumps it down, hits TEs, WRs, goes through progressions. That's his biggest attribute. He will run the ball of he needs to.

Watching Wentz last night reminded me of Tua's game. The Dolphins need to run a lot of RPO's like the eagles do for Wentz.

Similar gunslinger mentality. I think tua will progress through his reads maybe a tad better than Brett.

Brett didn't have the injury issue hanging over him like Tua does with his hip. If Tua can put the injury questions behind him, scramble a little, take a few hits and be ok then you will start to see those concerns subside and he should be off to the races. He has excellent ball placement skills and is similar to Pay Maholmes with the way he uses his eyes to move defenders slightly enough for him to find the correct receiver.

Favre actually had MORE injury concerns than Tua does. He had 30 inches of his intestines removed after a car accident in his Senior year, and then was diagnosed with necrosis in his hip (same as Bo Jackson) during his physical when traded to Green Bay. The GB doctors wanted to fail the physical & void the trade, but were overruled by team management. Favre overcame all that to have a very healthy & highly productive career. Who's to say Tua can't do the same?

The fantasy team names from his name alone would be awesome!!!!

If you can come up with a fantasy team name using Tagovailoa then you deserve to win the Pullitzer.

He is awesome in his progressions and yes dumps off to RBs with precision.
