ST. STEVEN 4,177
Man, this guy is slipping to the last few rounds in even the deepest of leagues. He didn't get much time to run with the 1s on offense in camp due to his injury. He is apparently healthy now though. Anyone read that he has a chance to see the field early on in 3 WR sets? I suppose it is probable he is behind Tate for that role.

jeffnsee 291
Keeping an eye on this guy, played 60 snaps on Thursday and seems to be playing ahead of Ross now. Might be worth something later this season with this high volume passing offense

Jnerica 11
He played over a health scratch Tate last week. Playing over a healthy scratch Ross this week. Did see 6 targets in his first extensive action and is 97% available in yahoo. AJ has already been banged up this year and remember its a contract year for AJ. These low outputs are hurting his value for next year. He may just go out on injury to keep his value up sneaky add. Higgins played second most snaps last week behind only boyd. He played 65%. But what is most telling is that 65% was 60 snaps. In comparison, Calvin Ridley played 63 snaps leading the falcons. Juju played 59 snaps which was 91% for Steelers. The bengals made baker mayfield look like Bernie Kosar. This team will be behind a lot, playing lots of snaps and throwing. And he plays at 1. If you play yahoo which allows you to drop players not in starting lineup, if he does nothing, you can drop him for a kJ hamler or even a Curtis Samuel type from the later games. Or even a Michael Pittman. Edited September 27, 2020 by Jnerica Added Michael Pittman

Looks like he was a good pickup for anyone that made the pick before the game. They can’t run. They cant defend. AJ green looks done. Boyd and Higgins seem to be the options.
The G Man 1,016
Man, I'm hurtin' for certain at WR. Is this guy emerging? How'd he look last Sunday? Worth a flier?

Worth a flier? Definitely worth a flier, I think - moved ahead of John Ross and is now at worst 3rd in the pecking order on a pass-happy team that will almost always be playing from behind, catching balls from an ascending QB that looks like the real deal. 1

FinsUp24 519
I think he is serviceable right now and makes for a solid bye week filler, but if Green or Boyd go down I think there’s some solid upside here.

I grabbed him for the 9 targets last week, the uptick in PT (79% of offensive snaps last week), the fact that I think Burrow and he have some rapport, that they likely will be playing from behind quite a bit, and I honestly question whether or not AJ Green will ever be what he once was. JMHO...
thebadferret 423
Haven't seen the game, but was AJ Green shadowed by Darius Slay? That would explain why he was so useless and would lower my expectations for Higgins.

Fort4242 740
Pretty sure this was mentioned, but just in case, John Ross was a healthy scratch Week 3, and Auden Tate was also a healthy scratch Week 2. Seems like Higgins is working his way up the depth chart. 22% snaps in Week 1, 65% snaps in Week 2, and 79% snaps Week 3. The 79% snap percentage in Week 3 was the highest of all Bengals WRs so he was literally on the field the most for the Bengals. Targets increasing each week as well - 0, 6, 9. Running game stinks. Starting TE on IR. Green looks like a shell of himself and they're already making room for Higgins with healthy scratches in back to back weeks. If AJ Green continues to look like he has, there's a realistic opportunity here for Higgins to become the #2 option on a high volume and pretty productive passing attack.

Spot on....I have a hunch that AJ Green will be traded before deadline(Texans, Pats, Colts, Eagles, Niners)there are a lot of WR needy teams. Bengals don’t need to invest into a declining Green IMO, they have young promising talent at the skilled positions, and def don’t need to pay high dollar for him when they can invest in their Oline for their Franchise QB. Bengals need to get a return for Green while they can, they need all the draft capital they can get to build that offensive line for Burrow. It makes all the sense that Green will be dealt before the deadline. Higgins is in a very great spot rn.
CooL 3,248
He's also a big target in the red zone. That's great for a young QB. Bengals playing 11 I think at one of the highest rates in the league. And slinging it a ton. He'll be out there most of the time, assuming Ross is not going to take back the job. The kid appears to have talent. And now he has opportunity in the form of PT and lots of passing attempts. Definitely worth a bench spot in 12 and 14 teamers.
