Debateable.  Every week they have projected points for Hollywood Brown.

So at least he should be back for week 13? I was really hoping we'd get him back this week...but as long as he's ready for the playoff stretch, I'll take it.

Wait is he not playing this week? Can’t find anything recent and was under the assumption that he would be active

So I guess as far as we know he's been activated but is still going to be a game time decision? Playing the Rams + afternoon game means owners are prob going to have to make some tough decisions

Edit: Also 49ers can't play or practice at home for the next 3 weeks due to contact sports ban in Bay Area, might affect him getting up to speed + no home games weeks 13 and 14

He had to be activated to the active roster by the 4:00pm eastern deadline, but as of now there hasn't been any news that they made the roster move. Hopefully it just wasn't reported and they actually did.

he was officially activated, as well as Trent Williams, which is big news in and of itself

Awesome news. The last I had seen, he had not been activated and there was speculation they missed the deadline to make the move.

Getting Trent Williams back too would be a nice boost. With no Coleman either, I feel pretty good about finally plugging Mostert back into the lineup!

  • 49ers activated RB Jeff Wilson (ankle) from injured reserve.

The 49ers have also activated Raheem Mostert (ankle), claiming they are unsure if he will suit up against the Rams. We would expect Mostert to play, leaving him as the No. 1 and Jerick McKinnon as the No. 2 with Tevin Coleman (knee) still sidelined. That means Wilson could mix in for some short-yardage/goal-line work as the No. 3 back, but there is no path to Week 12 fantasy relevance outside of a random touchdown plunge.

They could at least stagger their returns.

I hate hearing that TWO of their backs are eligible on the same week!

Yeah I know I couldn't help it but throw the obvious little barb in there 😁.

At this point in the game though I think you know the drill: Each of the options other than Mostert has failed miserably (other than Wilson - who excelled before he, as well, got hurt) when given golden opportunities to create any kind of confusion as to pecking order. If Mostert is active he is the clear option - any of the others is a fool's errand and I imagine most reading this thread have had the opportunity to run an errand or two.

Ideal world you bench 'em all in a crappy matchup and wait and see. I've held 3 of these damn backs (all 4 including Wilson at times) throughout this entire ordeal which has been a mistake - I'm down to 2 now.

My estimation at the current aforementioned pecking order: 1. Mostert 2. McKinnon (he's a specialist like Wilson but so far game script for the 49ers this year favors McKinnon's passing game role) 3. Wilson - much tougher runner than Coleman at this point and a money option at the GL. Has the chops imo to take the #1 job and be adequate but needs Mostert to get hurt again 4. Coleman - not healthy yet, got injured almost immediately upon his last return from injury.

All year it has been Mostert > McKinnon > Wilson.  Who knows what's going on with Coleman, he's been hurt all year.

As a McKinnon owner, I can tell you that hasn’t been the case. With Mostert out, Wilson took the lead role, until he got hurt.

I could be wrong, but I think McKinnon is the change of pace guy unless Wilson and Mostert are out.

Has there been anything definitive on Mostert? Haven't seen one of Scheffter's typical "expected to play" tweets this morning.

Listed as questionable and saw something around Shanahan not being sure if he'll play.

4pm start makes this tricky too. Minus definitive news would have to sit.
