This guy a football player or a porn star?

Wilson is captain positivity. He could have his dog murdered and say “the killer did a great job and cleaned up the scene nicely.”

It's the Seahawks and Pete Carroll 🤷‍♂️

“He had a terrific week for us and was really impressive,” Carroll said of Collins. “He kind of fell right back into the flow of things here, and we feel very comfortable with him playing [Sunday] even though he hasn’t been practicing in all this time. We feel good about him. He’s got his head in the right place for it.”

Cant trust these beat writers for teams. 49ers beat writer came out and said Hasty would lead the backfield... we see how that worked out. This game should involve no defense,  hoping for 2 more TDs but ill take over 100 scrimmage yards and a tuddy.

It’s Sunday morning. If you’ve got him for this week, you roll with him. Not going to start looking for a Wayne Gallman/McKissic/Howard level replacement just because some beat writer says Homer will split the load.

Thoughts on his second game? I was not able to watch today.

Buffalo got out to a big lead early so Seattle had to abandon the run game. Dallas got the touches you want in the offense as expected, the high value RZ work.  Not the prettiest line out there but you take it. Saw nothing that led me to believe that Homer or Collins is the guy to own over Dallas while Carson/Hyde are out.

My other takeaway is that he does not seem to be the preferred passing down back as homer really exploded as a receiver...hope it doesn't take a chunk away from his value going forward, but I expect RB2 + when Seattle is in the lead...today was worst case scenario. He also got hit pretty hard today. Encouraging he was first in line for touches.

Kinda reminds me how Carson and Penny will be used going forward like last year. Carson grinds out yards and Penny gets probably more valuable touches...let's see if Homer can chip away.

Nobody even watches the games or looks into info, he first got hit hard late in the 1st quarter, out for a couple plays late on that drive. Comes out the next drive totally fine, gets stuffed at the goal line that drive and then was benched in the 2nd half for Collins and Homer because of “errors”. Only got one touch in the 2nd half.

would be a good play next week if Carson out again

Only 1 touch in the 2nd half, which happened to be the goalline carry for a TD. Again he gets the high value touches. And how many total carries did Seattle run in the 2nd half, being down 20+ points? 6 total carries in the 2nd half. I don't think there's much to infer about when the team abandons the run entirely in the 2nd half (and for most of the game tbh).  Until Homer or Collins steals the goalline work there's not much to worry about. I think Carson is  hopefully back next game IMO and Hyde should just be put out to pasture at this point.

The naysayers get a small amount of credit - Homer did eat into his workload. But like ^^^ Guccimonster & TheINC said, he got hit hard and the gamescript was surprisingly out of hand from the very first Buffalo drive. Seattle was playing catch up the entire game. But unlike Tampa Bay, which gave out only FOUR carries the ENTIRE game vs. the Saints, Pete Carroll & co. spread the ball a little, still giving the rookie a goal line touch to boost his confidence.

At the end of the day, he got a TD because of his opportunity as a high value touch role in a high octane offense. I'll take those points this week over some other hot-name RBs with less defined roles that people were feverish over this week (JK Dobbins, Leonard Fournette, JaMycal Hasty etc).

I'm assuming Carson comes back in some capacity this week so Dallas is probably a drop for me if so, but even in a Carson-less RBBC I think he's still the top depth option for the Seahawks. If news were to come out that Carson is out longer or gets hurt again, Dallas is as good of an RB2/3 fringe as anyone.

He’s only a decent fringe option if Hyde is out. He didn’t even sniff the field when Hyde was active and he’s demonstrated little to show he deserves it.

Unfortunately I've gotta side with the naysayers on this one. He's only an option if he's literally the only option. Even with Hyde and Carson out this week it was still a committee. He becomes VERY TD dependent at that point.
