im also convinced he’s missing 2-4 weeks minimum. Ominous post plus reading about bone bruise and recovery time/ significance of injury isn’t good. However they would’ve IR’d him by now so maybe they are measuring progress until the weekend

AJ Brown has a message for you fantasy owners:

He should definitely see a urologist in that case.

Let’s see the big picture:

The guy got this injury before the regular season.

came back and practiced and got ready for game one.

still played in game one and looked OKish albeit not his normal dominant YAC self. So he literally already played a full NFL game with this.

then he practiced limited after, and then out.

so clearly it’s just something they’ve finally decided they need to allow him to heal to get him to 100% rather than having him play gimpy for week after week. I’m fine with it. Give him 2-4 weeks to finish healin this up and let’s get it for round 2.

Drafted this guy heavily this year. Thought he was a prime candidate to break out as a league winner, like a new Tyreek Hill. Very disappointing so far. Hopefully he comes back strong in a few weeks.

you’re telling me bud I bought him in dynasty and keeper leagues...

This guy is the PFF sports injury specialist and former NFL strength coach highlighting why its important for the Titans to be very careful handling this Brown injury because if they rush him back they risk long term permanent damage.

#Titans WR A.J. Brown (knee) suffered a bone bruise. Typically return to play is between a couple days to multiple weeks. A bone bruise is edema or swelling in the bone that can lead to complications and articular cartilage loss if not treated properly.

yeah, pretty wide range of outcome here ... there is belief that this was incurred in late August, though - which would have him at roughly 3 weeks in ... 'cept he went out and played Monday night at obviously less than 100%, so that stunted whatver recovery had taken place, and now sets him back to square one.

the waters here are quite murky, only upshot is no IR designation YET.

Titans had a handful if WRs in yesterday for workouts - not a good sign, but could also be insurance for Davis and his friggin' hammy.

those fans pay your effin' salary ... have a nice season, guy! 🙋‍♂️

He's talking to the people that are asking him to play. Wouldn't you have the same response to *those people? The rest of us understand he's hurt and move on to the next best option.

Telling people to f off is all part of God's plan for him... I'm in negotiations right now to possibly trade ingram or conner for brown. Really trying to offload one of those guys. Not sure what to do now. Seems like he might hit IR.

Perhaps I should have completely explained that it was a trade involving my antonio gibson, will fuller, conner or ingram for their a.j brown and melvin gordon. Now that you know the whole story maybe its believable. Never the less... im sure someone, somewhere would indeed make that 1 for 1 trade. Smart... maybe not. Possible... yes.
