Chris Carson 2020 Outlook

I feel like hyde will be RB2 level - safe floor, low ceiling. They are letting Russ air it out too much to expect RB1 numbers, but I think one TD and at least 80 yards is a reasonable expectation.

But if Fitz implodes, Wilson could be resting in the third while Hyde just runs out clock.

Wow - a freak injury occurred from him being tackled. Not a hamstring, not something from just running. But he got tackled awkwardly and twisted his body.  Please kindly escort yourself out for p

Um Carson got 20 touches to Hyde's 7 and he got a TD, what more do u want? 😆

Seahawks pass defense is already awful.

Now factor in that their first or second best defender is out in Adams and their best corner (Dunbar) is up in the air. Then factor in that multiple defensive linemen did not participate as well. This defense is utter dogshit as it stands. I doubt Fitz implodes.

When Penny does come back, Carson is still a solid RB2 right? Looking at his numbers last year, outside of a couple nice games he didn't do too much.

nobody knows...problem is this is the best offense right now and carson is the lead guy...jus roll with it and see what happens

I wasn’t trying to predict injury or anything like that. I hate that Carson got injured on a freak type accident. I was just trying to prove to @dudewithabadcat that you never know in this league. Don’t act like you can see into the future  on players health.

Yet...he may still play.  I wasn't trying to predict that he may play every game this season or anything like that.

And I hope he does. Just don’t act like you’re some kind of health predictor around here.

i duno if you guys can afford to do it but it may be wise to wait a week...they may limit him like week 1 again...not that his tds werent awesome but he may not get a big workload

I have him in over Gibson or AP this week...for now but I agree that his touches may be scaled back.

Wilson’s ridiculous season will prove this correct. They don’t need to run like they used to. Bad Defense + Wilson on Fire = no need to overwork RB’s

I don't think you get it.  Re-read my original comment and tell me that I think I am health predictor or a guy making a bold prediction.

Maybe I did read it incorrectly and i apologize for that.

  • Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Chris Carson (knee) had an "excellent week" of practice.

Carson showed enough in practice that he's expected to play Sunday. It confirms he's only dealing with a minor sprain. Carson has a favorable Week 4 matchup with Miami, but it's possible a Seahawks blowout could have him getting rested in the second half.
