ESPN now has him projected to play...really doesn't make sense to me that Seattle would risk his health and that he would play with a midfoot sprain after no time missed and being expected to miss several weeks.

ESPN projecting him to play is irrelevant. They have no more information on his game day status than the rest of us.

Carson has said numerous times now that he was out to prove everyone wrong and play a full season. So I think Carson plays as long as he can step on the field IMO. Is that the smartest way to go about it? Well no, but that's not the point really.

"That's a goal that I set for myself this year, I want to play 16 games," Carson said. "No matter what the situation is, injuries stuff like that, I want to tell myself, if I can play through it, I'm going to play through it. I know that's one of the big knocks that a lot of teams have on me is, 'Can he play a whole season?' And I want to prove to myself and prove to everybody else I can."

Did CC practice today?  I thought a player had to get in at least one practice (even limited) to not be listed as doubtful or out as per NFL rules.   This whole situation is confusing.  Nervous trotting him out there if he's active and then he barely plays.

Didn’t practice all week. Surprised he is questionable rather than doubtful tbh

It's the Seahawks. CJ Prosise was questionable for like three and a half years and I'm not sure he was active for a single game in that stretch.

Weird how they can get away with that.  It's NFL rules.  Allen Robinson was in the concussion protocol all week, didn't practice but was listed as doubtful as a result.   All he was waiting for is to clear the protocol and once he did, he has no injury designation.   He was probably more questionable than doubtful but the Bears had to list him as doubtful due to not getting in at least one practice.   Carson should be listed as doubtful if he hasn't practiced at all imo.

Carroll to Goodell after making every Seahawks RB questionable:

I don’t think there was ever a chance he was playing after not practicing all week. Hopefully he’s back next week but I can see a scenario where we’re back in limbo trying to figure out which handcuff is healthy or even worth owning. Ugh.

Pete was playing with Shanny & his scouts, tryna keep them on their toes by saying Pete Carroll things. Hope the reports of Carson being 50/50 were somewhat true since that would insinuate his foot injury isn't serious, but glad they sat him.

Chances of him or Hyde playing next week?

I think he's probably out for another week. Midfoot sprain shouldn't be rushed
