RB3 after Cook, Connor. Pretty happy getting him in the 4th round. Hoping for lots of goal line duties. Edited September 11, 2020 by wahoos1
cdd10 1,200
Looks like a RBBC
TwoCan Sam 293
Imo the bigger issue to Carson’s output is that this might be the best supporting cast Wilson has ever had.

OmegaRed88 644
There is a decent chance Carson gets spelled a bit more than years past. He’s never completed a season healthy and they like what they’ve seen from Hyde. They may limit his carries in an effort to not have to turn to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th option at RB heading into the playoffs like last year. Not a RBBC by any means, but a down tick in carries seems quite possible.

TTo34 2,956
RBBC makes sense. It's tough to be the bell-cow when you're getting gassed on special teams. 😂

Though I attribute much of Penny’s role last year to Penny finally producing in a meaningful way. This year I think the staff has the mindset of “we just need this guy healthy in January”. Also, I don’t see Hyde mimicking Penny’s success from last year, so Carson is likely safe in the regard.

Whereas Hyde’s is similar.

Trifecta 2,139
Pete Carroll said they'd both play... That's obvious. Of course they'll both play. Nothing to parse there. Pete said he'd let the hot hand ride. Again, kind of obvious. Of course the guy performing will get more work. Here's where you read between the lines: which of these backs do you expect to perform well? Exactly. 2

RB tears his right ACL in college, then his meniscus, and then tears his left ACL. enters the NFL labeled as "injury prone." a couple of years as a pro, same RB fractures his hip. and then said RB plays 9 seasons averaging only 1 missed game per year. this RB is frank gore. people forget how gore was labeled as injury prone. chris carson's ability to heal from difficult injuries may have us forgetting his injury prone label as well. he is a violent runner, but he is a strong man with a trace of adamantium in his marrow.

Hero202 477
I don’t want to overreact, but is this a 50/50 RBBC on a pass heavy team?

This was one weird game- it's like they wanted Wilson to prove something. But Carson turned into a PPR machine today. Game was out of reach, so I don't think they needed him to run the ball in the 4th quarter. Outlook...cloudy, but cant' complain this week.
street sharks 3,273
They didn't need much from their running backs today. Russell was shredding them through the air
Sivaro 943
Hyde got a TD as well today. This is a good thing for Carson because he won’t get ground into the dirt over time so much. Carson is injury prone, but they need him healthy. He is irreplaceable and a huge fantasy point machine. I low balled him this year, but I was wrong about his comeback after that injury. I would not be too concerned as they are just letting Hyde take some hits for Carson to keep him healthy longer. Hyde will vulture some Td's though. Carson RB2 solid. WVFalcon 68
This game was basically over at halftime. I think Carson would have had more of a load in the second half if the game was closer. Both Carson and Hyde looked pretty good.
OmegaRed88 644
They simply didn’t need much from Carson after the 1st quarter. Case closed.
Itachi_is_the_goat 294
Idk I am pretty concerned here. I don't expect receptions moving forward and it looks pretty 50-50. Might try to see what I can get for him
