Last week's pass heavy look from SEA doesn't worry me, if anything I can see it helping Carson by keeping defenses a little more honest. Expecting another solid state line from Carson this week. This is my approach going forward. I sat him for Mixon this week and regret it.

There are signals that indicate a shift in philosophy, IE 'let Russ cook'... and instead of forcing the ol' establish it and then set up the pass later (or be simply forced to) they are going to actually apply rational coaching and utilize their all-world QB to dictate early and often. It sets up quite well for CC, as they will use him in the passing game and he will 'opportunity' his way into a sweet amount of GL chances. It will also keep him fresher for 4Q work, and late season work in general.
TuckAndRolle 18
Carson being the main pass-catching back would be great for his value even if he does split carries with Hyde. Is Hyde a threat in the passing game? I see that he had one season with 59 receptions but other than it doesn't seem like it, but I don't know for sure
rasto21585 263
Pretty much salvaged the day in the 4th quarter. Still concerned with him splitting carries with Hyde and Homer. How do we feel about his ROS outlook going forward?

Itachi_is_the_goat 294
I'm trying to sell (prolly in 1 league not both). Not encouraged by snap counts at all Edited September 21, 2020 by Itachi_is_the_goat
Drewfus 128
Y'all have some pretty high expectations for an RB2. How many RBs in the league are not splitting carries? Only a small handful of guys got more touches than Carson this week.

Are there even ten guys left in the league that are actual workhorse backs.

WVFalcon 68
This is what I expected in this game. In games that are dog fights Carrol is going to keep the teams meanest dog Carson in the game. I'm not sure why some of you guys are still trying to sell based on snap count after this game. He had 20 touches this game and has great hands. Seattle's offense looks just as good as any offense in the league. If he stays healthy he's at least going to finish a high end RB2. FooserX 208
21.6 week 1 and 18.3 week 2.... why are people complaining?? Lol if having Hyde in there keeps Carson healthy to keep putting up these numbers I will take that all day long
dudewithabadcat 1,078
Have we mentioned the hands on this guy? I can still recall last year when he did his little bobble catch when he was all by himself in the end zone. This is a man who is improving his game. Love it.
Starz12345 1
I’m getting offered Michael Thomas for this guy in a standard league. Who would have thought at the start of the year that would be the case.

You don't want it to happen, but it would be one thing if he played through the injuries like Hopkins, Julio, J Jacobs. You hope for the best from him, but Im being realistic in the expectations that this is in the realm of possibility more than other players of similar value. Not bringing any ill will on him, but you cant just rule the possibility aside because its "the bottom of the bottom"

I understand some players are more injury prone due to play-style, genetics, or whatever else. However, nothing is an absolute in fantasy football especially injuries. That’s the first thing and it applies to injuries in general. When it comes to Carson: it’s just flat out dumb when you consider he’s started 91% of the games his last two years. FooserX 208
Just cuff with Hyde and go through the season worry free at the RB2 position. To be honest, having Hyde split carries with Carson is looking more and more genius by the week as RB's are dropping like flies from not having a full pre-season to get used to football. If I had to guess, I'd say Carson will miss some games this year but I wouldn't be shocked if he played 16 either.

Also got outplayed and by Penny a few games and we werent certain he was going to be the starter with his fumbling problems. Things change. The one thing that doesnt necessarily is player health, and with no offseason I can see why SEA have used him at a limited role than last yr. He is a good talent on the team, but a RB that runs like he does is looking to get hurt even if its minor.
