Wilmer Flores 2020 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Somebody had to get a thread together for this guy named Wilmer! Just turned 29 yrs old and famous for crying on the field after learning he was being dealt to Milwaukee.

Despite playing at pitcher friendly venues and getting limited ABs throughout, he has managed to hit...and continually improve year after year.

Culminated with a .317/.361/.487 last year in the desert, he is off to a .301/.322/.506 with 5 HR by the Bay this season. 1B/2B/CI/MI eligible, soon to grab 3B as well.

Prob a candidate to get dealt in the coming weeks and could receive a bounce with that. Just a solid deep league/points league player imo.

For the first six years of his career, .271 was his best average...

Now he is over .300 last year (albeit less games) and this year...  What changed?

He did.  Also he isn't a Met anymore, hah.  Bet he isn't crying about that anymore as well.  SF has good coaches.

He could always hit against lefties. Last year he figured out how to hit righties and has carried it over to this year.
