They arent getting a top pick anyway. So Tua is the QB of the future no matter what. I agree that Tua is the QB of the future but they do own Houston's first round pick which should be top 10 if not higher.

Thing is I can see maybe if they had top 2 pick taking QB but are they really thinking of moving on from Tua for someone else? That seems a bit hard to believe

Neither team is trading out of their pick.
jhomes55 41
Here we go again........ Thu, Dec 3 "Dolphins coach Brian Flores said he won’t decide until Sunday whether they’re confident Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) can go or if Ryan Fitzpatrick will start."
SkinsChargersFan 3,422
This is pretty absurd on the Dolphins part. I realize they want to go back to Tua, but if he is that questionable, why don’t they just give his thumb another week to rest? (While, in the process, giving them a better chance to win)

My devante parker stock hates Tua in 2020. I might even play Fitz over Kyler. Kyler looks way tilted with that shoulder injury. Hopefully they do the smart thing and play Fitz.

But agree it makes zero sense to not start Fitz.

Joe Mama 109
Just trying to get into Flores head, the only reason why he might want to start Tua is because it's an easy matchup and would help his confidence.

That's why I was surprised he sat vs. the Jets, but the injury must have been bad enough for that to not be feasible.

PackerBacker555 943
I’m going to SIT him. don’t feel confident anymore, especially if tua is even active. The moment Fitz has 2 three and outs, he may get pulled. Throw an INT? Could happen. If they are down big? May sit him and let tua get some reps. Who knows??? That’s why I’m not risking him

BGDDYKWL 1,130
Tua's agent tweeted that he's flying to the game to watch him. Then later changed his tweet to "watch the Dolphins". Sounds like Tua's starting.

Tua is 3-1 as a starter. I think Flores is showing Tua that when he said Tua was the starter, despite being benched, that he meant it. And that even though he was out a game because of injury he is the guy now if healthy. It appears Flores is establishing trust with not only Tua but the locker room by following through with what he said. It also could eliminate any doubt in Tua's mind and allow him to play more confidently if he is healthy. Edited December 6, 2020 by 24/7fantasysports
