MyFistYourFace 86
No talk about him. Thinking of putting a low bid in for him to replace Mack on my team. Had 9 rushes today and four catches.
CooL 3,248
Anybody watch this game? Would love to know the snap counts for the Dolphins backs. How did this guy even make it on the field with Howard and Breida also there? Everybody assumed those two would split and here we are.

sjm76 769
I think it's gonna be a messy rbbc in Miami all season. They didn't acquire Howard and Breida to sit on the bench. Gaskin could eventually make an ok bye week filler if his usage continues but I wouldn't expect too much.
mdw5048 581
Flores’ most improved player in camp. Was raving about him. I don’t think this is just a fluke. He earned his snaps and looked good. 1

Flores is a dynamite young coaching talent, his job is to put his best cats out there - they may have acquired Breida & Howard, but that doesn't change the cotdamn facts that the former is an oft-injured product of the Shanny RB factory, and the latter is zee Plodder ... cut and dried. that's not to say ol' Gascan here is all of a sudden gonna vault to CMC/JRob type volume share, but, i'd much rather have him marinating on my bench than the two over drafted stiffs ahead of him. 🦃
Bandito 2,543
For dynasty purposes, do we think he'd have a realistic shot at the job in the long-term? Other than some YouTube vids, I've never seen him play, so not real knowledgable about him.

Gaskin got the majority (13) touches and 63% of the snaps. Either an aberration or the start of a trend... Even a crappy's team "starter" is worth something especially if he keeps the pace up. pastorofmuppets2 10,612
kid dominated Miami's rb snaps ... if he keeps at least a 50%+ share? hmmmmm
kdpat15 258
how confident are people on here on his usage going forward? is he lets say a better stash than Chris Thompson ?
bgar15 521
A lot of Tiger King naming potential with this guy - may be the sole reason to give him the nod. "Myles GASKIN, killed a LB, WHACKED em" 1
Mr Rourke 245
On an RB starved dynasty team, I added him over Edmonds. When Tua gets going and with a healthy Preston, Parker, Gesicki who knows what could happen.

That's exactly the exchange I just did. Also pay 201/1000 $ for it. 29 minutes ago, Mr Rourke said: On an RB starved dynasty team, I added him over Edmonds. Don't want to trust Gibson yet and I tried to go all in this year. Don't expect him to win me the league, but I'm really happy if he is a borderline Flex start later in the season. This may fall under the category "dreaming", but if he can establish himself as the starting running back this season, he could keep this role over the next year. And with a team in rebuild he could continue to grow in parallel. He could also be a bust and never play again, though.
'71 Bucks 419
He's a flier for sure but 60% snap share is absolutely worth taking a flier on. The Dolphins have all the incentive in the world to find out what they have in their young guys this season. Worth a look in RB starved leagues (like the ones I play in).

Howard has waffle iron hands. this is Hines with no super duper prospect (like Taylor) ahead of him ... this offense is gonna need to generate explosiveness somewhere, especially if Parker sits ... there are worse stabs one could take for free - all the Hines/Kelley/Snell/JRob/Brown frenzy has afforded this kid a very cheap spec tag, bordering on el-cheapo bin. Flores has already stamped confidence in him, on the road vs the top dog in the division - that says quite a bit about the prospects.

I remembered Mark Walton being somewhat useful last year until his boneheaded off the field issues resurfaced. I'd say with some confidence, the way JRob played, he is so far worth more than a stab than CT for example, I might even say I might drop Phil Lindsay with a turf toe (when did u ever have someone with turf toe look right in the same SZN??) to punt with Gaskin.

kidsgotsoul 343
He's probably free if you missed on some of the more widely-touted pickups this week. If it weren't for Snell/Hines/Brown, he's probably getting talked about a lot more. Week 1 just offered a lot of potential value on waivers. I have him on the end of a few of my benches and am happy to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.
vercrazy 970
I pointed this out last year, but I had the chance to watch Myles play a lot since he played for my alma mater. He's not ELITE at any individual skill, but he's good/great in all of them. He's also quietly #14 all-time in NCAA rushing yards. There is a high probability that either Howard or Breida will get hurt opening the door for more of a featured role. Gaskin is their future at RB, not the other two. '71 Bucks 419
He reminded me a lot of Justin Jackson coming out of college. 4 year starter, was involved in the passing game. Consistent 1k yard rusher. Similar size and SPARQ scores. Drafted in the same range (7th round). Smart player that works hard and knows how to make the most of his opportunities. I don't see him blowing up or even necessarily being a multi-year starter... but I do think he will get his shot to prove that wrong this year. And if he's going to be their passing game/negative gamescript back, well, that should mean plenty of opportunity. That's worth something on it's own, even with Howard and Breida in the picture.
