ZappB 656
Just when we though we had a great RB2 for the playoffs... MYLES GASKINRB, MIAMI DOLPHINS Already out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Myles Gaskin (COVID-19) is also expected to miss Week 15 against the Patriots. Gaskin is COVID positive, so unless there are some gymnastics with when he first started displaying symptoms, he will be ineligible to suit up next week. COVID positive players must miss at least 10 days. With Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) likely to return some time before Week 16, Gaskin is suddenly a tenuous hold for the fantasy playoffs. DeAndre Washington will make the Week 14 start in his absence. We would probably cut Gaskin loose in re-draft leagues. kyoun1e 1,050
So is Gaskin 100% out this week no ifs ands or buts? Or is there a chance he gets through Covid? Doing some reading up on various sites and it doesn't seem clear cut.

As per the above, if he was reported positive on Sunday, let's assume the test was likely on Saturday 12; then if he is Covid free on Tuesday 22, he could play then. For him to play next Sunday, he would then have had to be positive last Thursday - except he actually was a full participant on Friday. So I'm going to say: that's a definite no. JJ1223 1,849
Ahmed and Brieda both looked excellent last week. Can we even trust him in week 16?

No - if Gaskin plays you cannot trust anyone in this backfield. With Gaskin out then Ahmed is a great start.

bakes781 76
I would lean towards both Ahmed and Gaskin being viable plays this week at Vegas

It really just depends on your options. If you are in the championship I tend to think you have RBs that are not handcuffed. I would lean towards those guys.

fantasymad 377
Full on RBBC? Risky start in the ship I am guessing.
wtb88 178
back at practice today. was honestly hoping he'd said out and we could roll with ahmed sunday. now i dont know what to do
furbz420 610
Great, back at practice, now both he and Ahmed are ******** dart throws
StevenSC400 1,002
Just because he’s back at practice and off the covid list doesn’t mean he’s going to be activated.

We’ll see again idk why it’s so surprising. Players have been off the covid list but not activated for games all year long.
bakes781 76
I'm sure Flores won't tip his hat as to who will start, but Gaskin hasn't provided a good reason to sit IMO. I saw this on PFT. Ahmed backed up Gaskin when both players were at the University of Washington.

KennyWoo 3,319
If Gaskin is active, any Miami RB could be started only with non-fidence.
fachowski 99
He's going up against the Raiders' lifeless defense though. I'd start him, but with tempered expectations
rag9876 268
Working his way up rankings slightly higher than Ahmed in most. Great match up. Too bad we don't necessarily have the guarantee he's going to see 15-20 touches. Early Sat game. Anyone gambling?
Jordan Coppington 130
I’m sitting Gaskin. COVID may have this man less than himself.
SenatorSpaceman 2,522
I'm surprised to see how pessimistic this thread is. I expect Gaskin to slide back into Miami's lead back role and provide a solid floor against a run defense that can easily be bested. Ahmed provided good numbers last week, but I don't think he has done enough to usurp a healthy Gaskin's job.
hezagenius 17
I'd start Gaskin depending on my other options. He's not a bad play, but I don't see a lot of upside with him.
kyoun1e 1,050
With my McLaurin suddenly doubtful I need to plug a hole and Gaskin could be the guy in the flex. Nothing from local reporters on this situation?
