CFN 1,663
Per RW just now: NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Christian McCaffrey (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 8 against the Falcons. McCaffrey's outlook was always headed this way after he donned a non-participation jersey for practice mid-week. Mike Davis, who recorded 16/89 rushing and a season-high nine catches against the Falcons in the team's first matchup, will receive one more crack as Carolina's bell-cow (and low-end RB1) before reverting back to the bench. McCaffrey is expected to return next week against the Chiefs. 🙏🙏🙏

DOOSH MAGOOSH 35
I don’t think he’ll have much value when CMC returns but I’m definitely going to hold on to Big Mike for at least a week or two after CMC returns in case he aggravates his ankle injury. CORTEz 1,119
Let's enjoy one last week before CMC returns in Week 9. It's been one hell of a ride, and worth every penny I spent on him.
Packerguy55 42
is anyone else concerned about his performances the last 2 weeks? only 3 and 5 targets in those games and his rushing yards have been non existent. If he was playing anyone but ATL who he dominated earlier in year id be nervous and consider benching (im in Guillotine league and player pool considerably better then typical leagues)

And we aren't talking bad, but atrocious bad. I'm expecting a great day from Mikey with the catches. It's also most likely his last chance to showcase himself for 2021, where he actually could be signed as a starter or co-starter somewhere. So for Davis, this is a HUGE last game for teams to remember him by and it couldn't come against a better team.
Members_Only_76 7,294
100 total yds, 6 catches, 1 TD.
MrPositive 886
All the great things he did, and ruins it with a total flop. Though I blame that HC and OC. I mean how do you not use Davis even 1 time in your final 2 drives??? They deserved to lose.
Chippa 1,364
6 ypc on 11 carries. He was very good. Just no touchdowns and 1 catch

affliction 2,172
Phased out because CMC is due back. Can’t make their 64m toy look like a product of the system by having a journeyman produce. Conspiracy theorish yes, but it’s the only thing that makes sense. They thought they could win games without him and failed Edited October 30, 2020 by affliction

TroutFister 551
if they used cmc like how they used davis in the past 3 games, cmc would be mediocre as well. THATS A FACT 3

zen25 96
Is it time to drop him and open up a bench spot? The last few games were not so good. This for folks without CMC.
