Popular Post Spina 730
Hit by the injury-bug to just about every WRs, the Jets will give the 6-5 undrafted rookie out of Georgia, Lawrence Cage an opportunity this Sunday - Top HS Recruit - played at Miami before Georgia -- blew out his ACL Sophomore Year - Transfers to Georgia following his Junior Year where he was Jacob Fromm's go-to - Replaced Calvin Ridley/Mecole Hardman at Georgia - Slid out of the draft due to injuries that teams couldn't address during COVID - Rib/Shoulder, then season-ending ankle his senior year - Chose the Jets as a rookie-FA due to his HS friendship with Sam Darnold I know its the Jets, and they are a wasteland...however opportunities present themselves in the void. Deep Leaguers who are desperate... But all should take notice. 12

Guaranteed you'll be able to grab Lawrence Cager -- 6-5 Georgia Product Jets Fans have been clamoring to get on the field. DerrickHenrysCleats 5,892
Nice find, I remember him as a HS recruit, he was a 5 star but never blossomed but he has elite intangibles and sometimes an opportunity is all you need. 3

nb009 932
The only obscure player threads I acknowledge are DHC’s Kidding. Nice find. Will have to give this kid a look! Edited September 26, 2020 by nb009 1
Trade Monster 743
So are really going to hype this guy up? He is on the Jets for christ sake. What size leagues are people stashing him in?

Do you think he will blossom on the Jets? Adam Gase is terrible. I could care less that he went undrafted, look at JRob. But he this guy is on the Jets.
Flyman75 4,873
Just a correction...he didn’t replace Calvin Ridley at Georgia. Ridley went to Alabama. 3
Brooklyn Dude 483
Gase sucks. But Cager should be a red zone threat given the Jets options this week. Cager had a good training camp. And Darnold knows he can throw it in his direction and have a good chance at a score.

Kaii23 374
Cager was the flat out best receiver at Georgia. When he was on the field the offense worked. Excited to see what he can do in the league.

What size leagues are people stashing him in? If he's in line for 6 or more targets then yes, why not? Opportunity outweighs talent in fantasy football. That's the beauty (or ugliness) of it. In real life the Jets are terrible and Cager could be inefficient. But if Darnold throws to him 10 times and he catches just half those passes at a modest 10 ypc that's 5/50. And that's much better than what Scotty Miller did in my lineup last week.

Yeah, I know. Lol. Was waiting for someone to point that out . He wasn’t nearly as talented as his brother, though lol. Edited September 26, 2020 by Flyman75

No, Calvin went to Alabama and now plays for the Falcons Cavin went to UGA and now plays for Da Bears. He chose to go by his middle name, Riley, since his name is spelled almost exactly like his older brother. Their parents named them Calvin and Cavin Ridley 😂 Edited September 26, 2020 by DerrickHenrysCleats
