Travis Fulgham 2020 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Projected shadow matchups: None

WR/CB breakdown: James Bradberry didn’t shadow Travis Fulgham in their last matchup, but perhaps that will change considering the damage the breakout WR has inflicted across the league.

These guys say Bradberry lines up as RCB and will mostly face Reagor, so Fulgham gets the easier CB matchup.

This is about all you need. He's a stud. If this coaching staff is not as dumb as a brick, this guy is their #1 WR, cut jeffrey, cut Jackson. They are wastes of time.

Anyone have the stats from a few games ago in regards to Bradberry covering Fulgham?  Not sure the percentage but TF was just mediocre a few weeks back when these team played.  Phi now has more options and I'm trying to see if that will help/hurt him here.

Since he entered the starting lineup in week 4, he's got the most receiving yards and most fantasy points of any WR in the league.  This guy gets no respect.  If he had better pedigree or his name was Davante Adams, he'd be a no brainer every week set and forget start.  He had 11 targets in the Bradberry game, and it was his one game in the last 5 that he didn't score.  But still his 5 for 73 was good for 12.3 PPR points.  I'll take that as his floor.

What about Alshon?

What about him?  Alshon hasn't played a game in almost a year.  I don't think we have much to worry about from him.

Only if you ignore the 6 people ahead of him.

Stop it.  Fulgam has played 5 games so far, total of 95.6 fantasy points, averaging 19.3 points per game.
Devante Adams, in just his last 3 games alone (Wk 7, 8, & 9) has already scored 108.2 fantasy points, and on his 6 games of the season, is averaging 28.1 points per game.

Mentioning these 2 in the same sentence is a joke.

Fulgam is a solid WR2, but keep an eye on how the team handles Alshon Jeffrey moving forward.  This week shouldn't be too much of a concern, but keep an eye on snap counts, who gets the call in 2 wide sets, and where each lines up in 3 wide to help predict future usage.

In addition to Alshon, they are also getting Reagor, Goedert, and Sanders.  Fulgham might lose a few targets, but it also it might be a situation where a rising tide lifts all boats with all of these weapons now in place.

Fair enough.  I should have clarified though.  From week 4 through week 8 (as Fulgham had a bye), he scored the most points and yards of anyone in the league.  Now sure, Davante was injured and had a bye and I'm not counting his huge week 9, but the point is that this Fulgham kid has been good.  If you blinded his name and asked if I'd be willing to start a kid that has scored a TD and/or at least 73 yards in every one of the last 5 games, you shouldn't have to think twice.

Hes only a play when everyone is hurt and hes the only option

One game sample is not enough of a size to prove this. His snap rate was full-time...talent plus opportunity man. He just didn't have the targets and the Eagles sucked a** partially because of it. If anything, Wentz will be the downfall for his fantasy value. He is a hold as he was a top-5 WR during his time with the Eagles...no one can do that consistently off the waivers.

Was Bradberry on him most of the game? I remember the last time they played the giants Fulgham had virtually (or maybe actually) nothing until the end of the game/garbage time.

So it could be a case of Bradberry/Gints having his # (or maybe Wentz’s). But there are the additional factors of more competition for targets. Definitely not dropping though.
