2020-2021 Top 48 ish players

Recommended Posts

I seen @apatashas a list 44 deep he likes so that is why I went with 48.

My top 3 currently is Harden, Davis and KAT. #4 is tbd but Steph,KD, Kawhi, Jokic, Lebron, Giannis, Lillard, Doncic and maybe Embiid probably round out my top 12 in no particular order.

Doncic will never reach that value in return. He's setting himself up for disappointment. If Harden goes to the nets his value will take a hit imo. Not sure why you guys would have a draft before free

I suck at computers, here goes, I can take snap shots on phone and share via email if this isn't good. Round 9 R9-3 11/11 10:33 PM Dennis Schroder

lol thank you thank you. Yeah I think even with Vanvleet signing, Terence Davis is most likely going to be dropped by the organization. So Norm will get plenty of burn this year. He's definitely someo

22 deep there but also a month and a half old, I can't find any rankings yet either.

Can mock draft at flea flicker but it's vs all cpu's and Durant is ranked 424 so it is essentially useless. I'm sure they will be out soon.

It's slow in here also compared to years past lol. I know fantasy hoops isn't nearly as big as football and never will be but wow. Seems like fantasy hoops is mostly a underground kind of thing now. The mainstream sites seems to have no interest in putting any effort into it anymore. I don't get it. The NBA grows in popularity more then any other sport each year. I think it just confuses some people. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Something to look at, it took me 30 minutes to find anything.

Nice find. Hoopball has a great fantasy podcast for anyone not familiar. Dan Besbris is a great host. Especially for those who like to take a break from Josh Lloyd's particular brand of personality, no offense to him.

Yeah Besbris is awesome. I've been listening to his every time one is up pretty much ever since he started doing them. I don't care for Josh Lloyd at all so I don't listen. The Rotoworld one isn't as good as it used to be but it's ok. The RotoWire one is really good. They aren’t as fantasy oriented though. More of just a good basketball show. In This League is my favorite. Humor and basketball go together well for me lol.

I promised give at least my TOP20 list. It includes 23 names (not 24 as I said in another topic, because Jonathan Isaac was 24th name, but he is injured. Here are the players not in particular order. Who you left outside TOP20, there have to be three players. Or probably you can even add names?

Atlanta: John Collins, Trae Young

Boston: Jayson Tatum

Brooklyn: Kevin Durant

Philadelphia: Joel Embiid

Milwaukee: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Washington: Bradley Beal

Miami: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

Orlando: Nikola Vucevic

Golden State: Stephen Curry

LA Clippers: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George

LA Lakers: LeBron James, Anthony Davis

Houston: James Harden

Minnesota: Karl-Anthony Towns

Phoenix: Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton

Dallas: Luka Doncic

Utah: Rudy Gobert

Denver: Nikola Jokic

Portland: Damian Lillard

Yes, Jordan Clarkson at 23 looks like joke. In my list it means I have to drop from TOP20 Gobert, Vucevic and Ayton, because Bam is 22nd, he is OK. I agree with Gobert (27), but Vucevic (39) and especially Ayton (41) are too low.

I actually just said this on the fbb reddit just this week, but I think people are sleeping on Ayton right now. If things break right for him he can easily be a low end T20 player, and I don't think it'd take much.

Agree, I tentatively have Ayton top 24, Vuce is not too far behind, Gobert or Drummond I never own but at 27 or 44 I could possibly change my tune especially if starting with 2 or 3 straight guards. The reason I never own them is they are always 2nd round picks but if that is not the case I could possibly own one of them for the right price. We shall see once the industry starts putting out rankings as there is a chance they are both top 24 players again.

He's shaping up to be a easy bargin by the early returns I'm seeing in early drafts and very preliminary ranks. He's very safe to return value for where he's going. The perception of underachievement is probably pushing that. It may be somewhat true that he hasn't quite lived up to his billing but too many people are looking at what he hasn't done and ignoring what he has done. That's the bottom line here. He finished 32nd last year. He's very rock solid with huge room for gains.

You are probably going to want to be in on him the year he figures it out. If he figure it out. If he does, you are very likely have a top 20 guy. If he doesn't you still get his draft return. Pretty simple to me.

I don't know that PG ends up being ranked quite this high in most based on what I've been seeing. I've noticed him sliding much further then this so far and I'm sure that has to do with his disaster of a playoffs. He's probably going to be a heavy target for me personally. Last year was just about as bad as it gets and he still was 20th overall. He's made for fantasy.

Jrue Holiday has stood out to me as a slider and incredible value in drafts as well so far. Some uncertainty there. Didn’t live up to his billing as a 1st rounder in a lot of leagues last year. May end up a steal.

He was drafted mid to late 2nd round (around 20-24th pick) last season, doubt anyone's sleeping on Ayton. If anything I might have him above Embiid this upcoming season due to load management and Embiid being injury prone. Doc has already said load management for Embiid.

Last season I drafted Holiday too early (17th pick) and I was not happy. His ranking at 24 is more accurate, but I still think I don't draft him in 2nd round this season.

Yeah his efficiency went to **** last season, think it depends if he gets traded or not and where to if he does, undecided at the moment.

Soooo if he's getting traded to, lets say DEN, what's going on with his value ? Stays the same, or slight hit ?

Slight hit in value for sure if Jrue goes to DEN, but he may be a value pick then and I could see his efficiency going up playing with Jokic/Murray. Still I don't see Jrue falling out of 2nd/early 3rd round in drafts wherever he goes. Starting lineup of Murray, Jrue, Barton/Harris, Porter/Grant(if resigned), Jokic looks potent though.

I've done a couple of earlys mostly with people I've played with before and most of them I would say are pretty decent drafters. Looks like the draft rank will be about 20-30 in most places. He pushed down to the 35ish range in both where I took him. He'll go higher in some I would assume and not all leagues are not the same. I just took note that he slid down in both.
