I get the frustration (I have shares of RoCo and Oubre so trust me when I say this) but the overreactions in here are insane lol. We haven't been even been through 10 games so far.

Back to actual Nurk talk. I've watched every game, and drafted him highly. Nurk was far more involved last night than before. He is able to play better defense, in particular. He is getting his mobility back.

If I had to guess, I bet he has lost 10-15 pounds since December 22.

Steps in the right direction.

Yep. He had long sleeves and full leggings on last night. Sweat that fat away lol.

Just for reference in case anyone wants to see last year's version of this thread. 😂

Nurkic aint Jokic. Not even close, but he'll be better than he is right now that's for sure. Just don't expect him to be a top 40 guy and you'll be fine

Oh totally not in the same league at all, but more about the pages of people complaining about the player being out of shape lol

From a blazers writer- Nurkic noted how much it weighed on his mind when he stayed with Blazers in bubble after his grandmother passed in Bosnia, so this offseason he stayed in Bosnia to take care of family issue, which played role in his being at what he estimates is 70 percent conditioning.

This is how much Nurkic has fallen so far this season, owners are content with 17/7/2 for a 2nd round pick rip

In 23 minutes at less than 100%. He has shown progress the past two games. Much bigger lines are coming.

I think we're more content that it looks like he's finally showing signs of life instead of the line itself.

Elaborating on what @sickrookie mentioned. I think it's time to drop the fat jokes. It's easy for us to criticize these players from our chairs because they're not performing for our fantasy teams. I hope that his issues off the court are heading in a positive direction. At the very least, his condition is getting better and the results are slowly showing on the court.

I don't think it will stop though. I am probably implying it half the time in this thread.

Some people can be cruel especially with the "safety" of internet anonymity.

This. Not sure what is going on here. Everyone is ecstatic, and Nurk's game wasn't even in the top 20 of the night. Kanter who played only 13 mins had a much better game. Nurk needs to step it up big time. I'd take this line from my 4th or 5th pick, not 2nd 😕
