Please God, let this game be a sign of the things to come and I promise I will never watch that weird Japanese p*rn stuff I was watching lately  🙏

This is why you never panic 2-3 weeks into the season, especially on healthy, young studs who have put up great seasons before. Especially for a 22 year old former #1 overall draft pick coming off an

Ended up with a pretty nice line at the end, even with foul trouble. A block would have been nice but what can you do.

His efficiency is ridiculous lol. Do hope he plays more aggressive though

Woke up this morning, and never thought they'd be this close considering what the Clippers were doing to them in the 2nd qtr.

Hopefully he can stay clear of the fouls and keep improving those lines for us

Do we think he's " back " ?

I think if we get one more good game like the last couple then might be safer to say he's back. I have high hopes

This must be his worst half ever. Two shot attempts so far. He’s seriously being underutilized. The team’s winning though. It’s gonna be a long season for us Ayton owners. Hopefully he comes up with a monster 2nd half.

Well atleast we know for next year ...he's just not aggressive at all in looking for his shot. And the team looks him off quite a bit too ..he has to realize he was the #1 pick for a reason..geeze

I agree. I don't get to see the Suns often. Watching them play the Pacers tonight, Ayton just didn't look to be engaged on offense. However, the wings were hot as Bridges and Booker looked good. CP3 seems to be looking to involve the perimeter players and less to getting the ball inside.  It is worth noting that the Pacers played big tonight so points at the rim were difficult.  The Suns are 7-3 so it is difficult to argue with what they are doing.

I think this is just more evidence of how the league plays ball these days.. if you cant shoot treys.. even as a legit center.. you are not much more than a specialist.. and ayton is now a rebound and defensive specialist..   can you name a legit center who doesn't shoot treys and is a top 1-2 option on a team these days?? shoot ayton is like the 4th option now!

Drummond signed and is on his last big contract and will go the way of Greg Monroe soon.

My problem with Ayton is that he’s not aggressive enough on both ends.  Sabonis absolutely demolished him tonight.  Watch any game and you’ll notice CP3 constantly on his arse for something.  I still have hope, just not 2nd or 3rd round hope.

ill give you that ... but they have only become competitive with the emergence of Garland.. who takes just about the same amount of shots as Drummond.. Sexton is clearly #1 and Drummond is 2A with garland as 2B.. even with all of that he may be the only one in this situation..  The point is the traditional center in the NBA is just about obsolete ..

Ayton as 22nd pick is a steal. I ranked him 18th, but maybe he could finish even in TOP15. Ahead of him? Kawhi, Embiid and Durant are all better than Ayton, but we don't know how many games they will play.

Where u at homie ?

The worst part is, I argued and argued and argued... and in the end u f ucking fooled me

Young big men and usage are generally what you need to pay attention to before grabbing them. Ayton was Uber-efficient but just simply doesn’t get enough touches and/or do enough offensively with those touches to be that 20/10 guy everyone wants. He’s basically playing trash compactor by finishing dump off passes, lobs, and put backs.

There’s a reason guys like Amare Stoudemire can average that 23-25PPG. Because not only do they feast on the easy buckets that are fed to them but they DEMAND touches and always attack when they get them.

It’s doubtful Ayton is gonna roll up to CP3 and Booker and tell them that he needs 18FGA per game. I’d find it hard pressed if he     clears 18PPG this season.
