He is team's fourth scoring option and Giannis takes most of rebounds. I can't see improvement, but as we know, last season numbers were enough for Lopez to return 5th round value. Because maybe some players improve more, I consider him as a 6th round option.

There was that ludicrious period he was bumped down to 10th or 11th round where he'd obviously be a steal.

I like how he's evolved his game and his unique production, especially for his position, but he's basically a high quality glue guy if you've handled most of your other needs in the first 5 or 6 rounds.  If you're expecting him to put up consistent stats as a first or second C, you might be in trouble.

i almost will feel like an idiot if i take him in 5th round at his actual value knowing he *could* fall to 7th/8th round

maybe the play is to shore up blocks with some1 else like turner and if lopez is avaialble still in 7/8 take him and flip him later

Wound up with brook again, got him a round later than last year and I needed blocks so had to pull the trigger despite the frustrations that come with his one-dimensionality. Ultimately you gotta feel good about the defensive anchor of a #1 defense being available as late as he is, because they won't pull him from games when the offense isn't there. That said, don't take him unless you really need a block specialist in the 80-100 range.

There's more to his performance than the fantasy numbers. The reason he played so little is they blew out the Warriors, not because he's getting benched. He looks the same out there as he has the last two seasons, anchoring the defense and being just enough of a presence offensively, the same formula that's made him a ~75th pick value these last couple seasons.

The security of his role is hard to find outside the early rounds, so chin up when he plays less during a 40 point win - you drafted a vet big. Unless you're overstocked in the blocks department, he can be quite valuable as a specialist with peripheral contributions

His lack of shot attempts even before the blowouts set in is deeply concerning though.

The good news is that he can set a career high in FG% as I think 60% FG is sustainable when he only attempts 5 shots per game and only 2 of them are from 3 point range. Field Goal anchor
