Hey! No matter what....Donut. Give. Up!

He is still a very useful player to own, I think. There are almost no shot blockers, and ones who don't hurt you in FT%? Plus get 3's? And he is not just a shot blocker, he is one of the best.

Don't go wishing for a players injuries. Especially not when the guy you're betting on misses even more games each year.

Not only does he have a good last name, I own 2 Michael Turner jerseys and 1 Trea Turner, I'm gonna order some Myles jerseys shortly. New coach is a Nick Nurse disciple and look what he has done in Toronto in his 2 years and he has no regard for human life (ie minutes restrictions) so giddy up, all Pacers health permitting are likely gonna break even or smash their adp.

He may be in for a good season with Sabonis dealing with plantar fasciitis

Sabonis had a prime AD like game tonight.  Sabonis is actually the perfect foil for Turner and vice versa.  One guy controls the glass and paint, the other just dominates in three phases. Fun to own both.

i’m not thrilled

if not for the blocks that’s a bad game with low PT

and he’s not getting u 8 blocks every night, so he better pick it up

Last year, Turner was 9th in the NBA in playing time for centers at 29.5 minutes per game. He played 28.5 minutes last night.

He is a blocks specialist and his value has always been heavily weighted by those blocks. Take them away from any game of his career and I can't imagine you would be "thrilled".

After 1 game, he ranks as the #13 player in 9-cat leagues. I hope he pIcKs iT uP too.

Umm, if you didn’t draft Turner — a well known blocks speciallist — specifically for him to deliver blocks to your boxscore, then you’re not doing it right.

^^ the point is that a lot of us have been waiting for turner to turn that corner .. he picked his game up in the bubble last season and averaged 16-11 in the playoffs

not expecting that, but 14-8 would be nice, which is actually what he averaged in his sophomore season

if you’re not disappointed with 10 points and 0 threes than u simply don’t understand his potential

blocks are guna come, we know that.. he just leaves more to be desired given his talent

I'd be with you if this was 2017.  Thing is he's now playing on a team that has a lot of talent around him, including Sabonis, who looks primed to maybe enter superstar status this year.  If you got Turner in the 5th round or hell even 4th round you wanted one things and that's blocks without getting killed on free throws.  As long as he blocks 2-3 shots a night he'll return top 50ish value even if he "only" puts up 10 and 7 as his other counting stats.

Only good for blocks

Yeh one of the hardest cats to win what’s your point? He single handedly won his owners that cat this week and that’s why we drafted him.. also doesn’t tank your FT% like other shot blocking centers

you can also single handedly win blocks by streaming that spot

when u draft a player like turner who u know is fully capable of giving u 15-10, you’re looking for production in more than one category

why is this so hard to understand?
