Hey! No matter what....Donut. Give. Up!

He is still a very useful player to own, I think. There are almost no shot blockers, and ones who don't hurt you in FT%? Plus get 3's? And he is not just a shot blocker, he is one of the best.

Don't go wishing for a players injuries. Especially not when the guy you're betting on misses even more games each year.

At 8-5 and .5 games out of first, I don’t think so. They look good, and hopefully if Levert comes back this season and Lamb looks healthy, they have a chance.

Wow, I have him on 3 teams and 2 of those I also had Nurkic. I felt ok about overcoming Nurk's injury, but this...this I don't think I'll be able to overcome. It's a roto league so a month's worth of missed games make a huge impact. My seasons pretty much over in 2 of those, smh. Now I'll probably fighting for 2nd or 3rd place best case scenario smh.

How long is he out for?

Not confirmed yet. A week to... and maybe surgery... Hayward didn't miss time-Nurk got 2 mos with surgery, this might be less, but...

Avulsion fractions are nothing.  Thank goodness.

I am not a physician nor do I have the medical background to provide an expert opinion. Being that an Avulsion fraction is nothing, I think the coach/team would still maintain some level of caution to avoid further aggravation. Expect frequent questionable or doubful status going forward.

I believe it's on his non shooting hand and Pacers are really thin and need him. He's such a beast I'm sure he'll rack up blocks with his head if needed lol

Nah, he’s right handed and it’s on his right hand. So I don’t know how he shoots with a cast.

For a couple weeks but a young athlete like him it will heal up fine in 2-4 weeks.  This is by far the best news we owners could have gotten when we heard "broken".

a lot of you seem pretty optimistic .. i know it’s nice that he won’t be out for as long as we feared, but having a fracture on the strong hand will really guna change the game of a shot blocker..

it sucks, but i might be looking to sell him after his first game back.

i hope i’m wrong.

While you make a decent point, what in earth can you look for a trade back for a guy with such a heavy block rate? You're going to lose a ton of blocks no matter what. I tried trading him for Boucher a while back before he went on a tear, and got no luck. In roto trading him would be extremely tough.

probably not guna get the same blocks back, but i’m thinking to aim for some1 like adebayo.. perhaps in a 2-for-1

It would be extremely rare for someone to give up 2 guys for a specialist. Turner doesn't really do much else. He has been stealing the ball a lot for a center but I think his steals will eventually drop. If you can find a 2 for 1 then take it and run. I doubt anyone will do that though.
