Two scrubs centers for an all star and you didn't smash accept immediately??? Jesus man these Whiteside fangirls are nuts

He has 10 years worth of minutes. Who exactly are they showcasing him to? Aliens that just arrived on earth? Walton is desperate and Hassan is a break-in-case-of-emergency kind of guy on their roster.

This is a great way to NOT be a NBA head coach lol. There's a reason good orgs like Miami and Portland got rid of Whiteside. I'm convinced that everyone who thinks he's some elite big man has literall

Heh, if he makes it to the CBA, he'd probably get some 30/30/20 games.  :D

Oh damn this thread hot? Is he injured? Ohhh no. Damn what the heck man!

lol, might as well be injured.  1 TO and 1 foul in 3 minutes.  Yay.  Bagley didn't even play much/well, and they just pivoted to harry B at PF and Holmes at C for heavy minutes.

Also, did anyone catch that Whiteside went in during Harden's second FT, and out (after he made it) with 18.8 seconds to go in the 4th?  Not like it added to his playing time, technically, but still sorta funny that Whiteside's spot on the bench was empty for about a minute.  I guess that was basically the equivalent of him getting up to stretch his legs.

Where are the all people who kept insisting that he would be a top 50 player?

Hey I'm right here.  I was very, very wrong.

Might be 0 minutes today

He was pouty on the floor last game and he's gonna be a DNP even against Cousins, a center he could matchup against.

He's receiving the veteran's minimum. There is no incentive to play him, the market was weak during the offseason, and he's a bad player in real life. If you're in standard 12 team leagues or less, drop him! 74% owned in yahoo leagues is outrageous.

it's possible a team either playoffbound or in need of a center will snag him.

Why do people keep saying this? He's a terrible real life player and if he can't even get minutes on a mediocre non-playoff team why would any contending team even want him? Forcing his way out to where? He went to Sacramento because that's literally the only team that would take him and he can't even get on the floor there lol. Dude is gonna be in China next year, he's done in the NBA

If kanter zupac and bismack can get games than Hassan 100% should be able to get minutes. Issue is Walton is a wanker and plays a style of play that big men can’t succeed in.

Kanter, Zubac and Bismack are better contributors to real life basketball than Whiteside. Have you ever actually watched Whiteside play? Dude plays no defense, has no hustle or effort, no bbiq, no sense of making the right play, and pouts when things don't go his way. He's the definition of playing losing basketball. All he does is chase boards and blocks to pad his stats.

There's a reason smart orgs like Miami and Portland realized this and moved on from him.

I still remember the agony on Stotts face when he couldn't put anyone else in last season. That was the curtain call.

The fact that he's STILL in the league is a feat of itself.

Hassan whitesides not a good basketball player.

Miami couldnt wait to get rid of him. Portland couldnt wait to bench him. Now hes a third string because hes a terrible defender a pouter and consistently shows inconsistent effort.

Hes benched because richaun Holmes gives a **** and bagleys was drafted over Luka and needs to be developed

damn, i know you guys are goin through it. but, genuinely curious. why would you draft him top 60?

His ADP is like 50 something and apparently nobody knows this is what is going to be like. In one of my leagues we drafted 2 weeks before the opener and I didn't know he's not going to be a starter.

At this point, everyone just hopes for something. He's a terrible player in real life but there's no denying that this guy is a fantasy stud when he plays.

Bagleys dad deleted a tweet about trading his son. It seems like chaos in unravelling again in Sac Town. My guess Luke gets fired at some point.

The new regime doesn't give af what Bagley or his dad want, imo. He's just another player they inherited from Vlade's flawed process, as far they're concerned. The reason Luke doesn't play him in crunch time is the new front office isn't wed to him like Vlade was. So Luke can play rotations with less handcuffs on. (Not saying Luke is any good or not, just that he doesn't feel the pressure to feature him as much.)
