"Why don't you come over here and say that?!"

I hate closers - I feel like a dog chasing my tail in a circle. 😡

I’ve been watching the Tigers game. Clase was the only one warming up a few days ago when it looked like the Indians might tie or take the lead. Today, Karinchak was the only guy warming up in th

If I had to lay money on it (and I don't want to) I think when the dust settles in Oakland Sergio Romo will be closing games for them.

The old "experience" card rears its head.

I'm going with Lou Trivino over Romo and Diekman while Rosey is out

Ginkel time until JB gets called up. They might not want to have JB close though, hope I'm wrong.

Crichton was money in the role last year. Why is it not him?

Also, unrelated, kind of concerning how much early usage melancon is getting (hard to argue with the results, though, as a chest thumper)...

I am not completely sure of the question Lovullo got asked but it seemed he would have used Ginkel last night as the closer/set up if he wasn't sick. He should be fine tonight and lets see if he can pitch well with limited options in the pen after the extra innings last night.

If he can pitch well tonight and having limited closer experience, I would lean towards Ginkel.

If I didn’t t know better I’d think Barlow looked more like a closer than anyone on the KC club. Dude’s tough!

Is Jake McGee the guy in San Fran?

My opinion since who really knows?  100% yes.  Last season he was nothing short of amazing and I expect it to carry over.  He is a little long in the tooth though.

I would put him towards the top of the list of guys who won't lose the closer gig.

Royals situation is impossible to read. Holland was used in a tough spot today and when he goes bad it's real bad. I don't think he's out of it. It's a complete toss-up right now.

retro WADE DAVIS time bay-bay!!

Apparently Devenski has been placed on the restricted list and it's not covid or injury. The plot thickens! Did he get into a fight?

Anyway, looks like he capped his save total for the year already.

Coach basically said as much pre-season to be fair
