"Why don't you come over here and say that?!"

I hate closers - I feel like a dog chasing my tail in a circle. 😡

I’ve been watching the Tigers game. Clase was the only one warming up a few days ago when it looked like the Indians might tie or take the lead. Today, Karinchak was the only guy warming up in th

Didn't Kendall Graveman have an ERA of like 5-6 last year?  That probably wont last either.

graveman looks a hell of a lot different as a relief pitcher.

zach britton was a pretty garbage starter and when he turned to relief, he put up some great seasons for the orioles.

Are we trusting Barnes more than Neris at this point?

yeah barnes has looked amazing, i don't think he's given up a run through spring or the start of the season plus tons of Ks.

Regarding Montero vs Graveman:

- Both are 30 years old

- Both are on 1-year deals

- One is making $1.25M (Graveman) and one is making $2.25M (Montero)

Given that both are in very similar situations I don't think Seattle has any good reasons to keep trotting Montero out there in the 9th. Both are going to be considered trade bait at any time this season if they can bring back anything of value. My money is on Graveman taking the job and running with it until he gets dealt. This isn't the Kendall Graveman that was consistently meh to garbage year after year. Since being converted to a reliever his FB velo is up from 94 to 97. He is now getting swings and misses and is doing a great job at limiting hard contact. He's a great grab now off the waiver wire if he is still available.
