Are the Red Sox really this bad?

Why does it have to be the Sox being bad? Means was great. His mix of speed and locations and pitches was phenomenal. Dude was dealing today.

Probably not ninth, but he shouldn't hit much higher...  He doesn't deserve it...

Dalbec should bat 4th.

Means was on.

Eovaldi was too.  Why did Cora pull him?  His velocity wasn't down.  He was throwing easy heat.  Cora, you went soft in your off year.  "Protecting" your best young power hitter by batting him 9th when he had a great debut the year before.  Now pulling Eovaldi when he was on fire and in the groove and showing no tiredness..

Congrats to Means for a great performance btw.  I was so burnt by Castillo and Kershaw yesterday I pulled Means from my lineup at the last minute.  I'm worse than Cora, damn!  😣

Boston's Defense was awful too.

Yeah, it hasn’t been great. Mix up with Devers and Bogaerts, terrible error by Kike.

He strike outs way too much to hit fourth...  Until he can put the bat on the ball a little more consistently, he should hit seventh or lower...

Everyone strikes out all the time in modern baseball.  He needs to get as many AB's in a rebuild year and see pitchers as much as possible.  Dalbec should not be buried back in 9th position.  It just makes him try too hard when he gets his few AB's a game which means he will end up chasing bad pitches in an effort to show his manager he can hit.

One of the balls he hit today that just went to the warning track would be easily a homer in the summer.  The stiff crosswinds from the ocean in early spring make homers hard at Fenway this time of year.  The swing looked really good too.  Nice and smooth.

Impressive win from Baltimore today considering their highest paid player is on the IL.

FTFY: Impressive win for Baltimore today considering they are Baltimore.

He should at least be hitting 6th possibly 5th once they realize Kike isn't the answer at leadoff.  Also what is this fascination with Hunter Renfroe?  Give the young kid more ABs what do they have to lose.

Terrible scoring call on Ohtani. Angels official scorer gave Abreu an error for a rocket down the line that should have been a 3B.
