That's a totally silly take. You don't find it odd that 29/30 teams let adults be themselves and the Yankees think they are better than everyone else and regulate what someone has on their face?

Absolutely agree. Not a stupid one.  Talk about a restriction of individual liberty.  No facial hair whatsoever.  No sideburns past the middle of the ear.  No longish hair that hits the collar-

They are up by 7. Maybe it's just to rest him and get Bradley Jr. in there

Kind of too early to basically do that.

GORE TIME!!!

That would be fun, but I'm pretty sure Lamet is likely to come back next week anyway.

Dunedin Florida is getting hit by a nasty thunderstorm as we speak. I really hate how the blue jays don’t ever post the lineup, what’s up with that? Now if Bichette sits I can’t replace.

Well, my apologies to the fine people at ESPN.  Thanks the confirmation

He’s 26 and has had his arm operated on 4 times. I highly doubt even the Rays would play arbitration games with him at this point. I hate to say it but the odds are stacked against him to still be pitching in the majors in 5 years. I’m rooting for him and would be really disappointed with Tampa if they play those games.

He was down for the first 10 days already and there's no way he's pitching a full season anyway. I hope you're right, but the Rays are totally the team to not care at all and they have an easy out here.  He wouldn't have to be down for long.

Pitch 6..called "ball four" to Carlos Santana

The time was a long time ago. There's nothing out of the ordinary here, it happens every game. I watched 2 innings of Yankees and Rays and whoever is doing that game was actually doing a great job. But yeah, it's pointless for this not to be robo umps years ago.

Anyone else wanted to vomit when Pivetta lost the quality start to that UNNECESSARY homer by Franco?  #StupidManager

MLB could save the arms of hundreds of pitchers if they use robot pitchers too.
