This forum sure goes from “slightly above average regular” to “league winner” real quick...

Another one today. Absolutely smoked. Should be back with the twins tomorrow or Saturday, make sure he's not on your wire.

Cleanup and 1b today...hold

He has a little bit of Bryce Harper in his swing.

Hopefully you mean the physical tools and not that he's a completely unlikeable chode.

First regular season hit is a double! His first at-bat he barreled the ball to the outfield on the first pitch from Plesac but it was caught...not this one.

Any word on why he is hitting 9th today?

I am just grateful he is still in the lineup after his less than stellar start

He has hit a lot of balls hard for outs.

Alex Kirilloff is batting fifth tonight, ahead of Max Kepler, which is a pretty good indication the #MNTwins agree that he's has been a lot better than his batting average suggests early on.

More here on Kirilloff's slow start and why that's misleading:  https://t.co/Xz0OIzqa0Y (paid article)

1st major league HR for Kirilloff, an opposite field 3R shot, and it's the 3rd inning yet. [...] I agree it's nice to see the Twins show confidence in him and move him up in the order, let's see if he can't go deep again tonight as the Twins are into the K.C. pen early.

Even a blind squirrel lol...schedule's been clear more recently since getting my first vaccine dose, enjoying about a solid week still of downtime 'til I have to go back to the grind 😉

Also, interesting lineup tonight for Twins. Kepler returned from the Covid-IL, in addition to Kyle Garlick. The Twins sent down Brent Rooker, and played Luis Arraez-Byron Buxton-Max Kepler in the outfield with Alex Kiriloff at first base. Kiriloff might see more reps there for time being...Sano still on IL with bad hamstring.

Key is that Kiriloff needs to be starting every night somewhere.

If you're looking at the extremely small sample size of the month of April to say Kiriolff is the "favorite to win AL ROY" you can state:  Yermin is the favorite to win MVP, let alone ROY.

The kirilloff for al Roy has nothing to do with performance so far and everything to do with his prospect prestige.

but these 3 hr in the past two days are nice!

When Sano comes back, who gets the boot?  Arraez has been playing LF

Arraez goes back to Utiliy guy wh n Sano returns. With Kiriloff finally swinging it like this, no way they can send him down.
