There literally is nowhere to pitch him right now. He is not missing anything and even on that pitch clearly outside he hit it with some authority.

Teams need to just Barry Bonds him

Wrong 12 SB. 2nd, 3rd, home. All 4 times.

Still no Buxton, but sure why they don't just IL him at this point.  He's already missed 5 or 6 days. So what's another 4 or 5.

Buxton needs to be in the old yeller discussions now.

Tatis is back. Grisham is hitting well off the IL. Myers is back. Cronenworth is on fire.

  1. Grisham

  2. Tatis

  3. Cronenworth

  4. Machado

  5. Hosmer

  6. Myers

  7. Profar

  8. Campusano

Time to see what they've got against the Dodgers.

Sounded like my exact thoughts on Yelich..lol

Seems like they think yelich wouldn't be out the entire 10 days if on the IL. I'm willing to bet he makes it back tomorrow or sunday.

Another Jazz homerun, this guy should be owned in way more leagues. i fear he'll be long gone when i get more moves on sunday 😔

I honestly don't see the big deal? He's not gonna hit for average, strikes out a ton. Does he have a ton of power upside?

The Padres are starting rookie Ryan Weathers?

Pretty much the exact same team needed expanded playoffs to even get last year. Rotation beyond Cole is suspect and the bats seem to all slump at once. They could still back in to the playoffs but they need serious SP help to contend.

Happy I streamed Hoffman (target Cleveland people), and he just took his AB so he should go out for the 6th and have a shot at a QS.

Curious if anyone thinks the Dodgers have an outside chance to break the Mariners 116 game winning season this year? I know it's early, but unless someone in their division like the Padres can step up and beat them, how are they not going to crush every single NL opponent at will with their depth? It seems like they'll fall short around 110 just because they don't need to push things too far, but I feel like they would win 120 games easy if they just went full steam ahead with all their weapons throughout the year.

why the f--- are they leaving Eflin in in the 8th past 100 pitches? hurt the old ERA for 0 reason. cool

Yeah but it shows confidence in him, and as a manager you have to like what it means for his chances to earn wins in close games later in the season. I'm just shocked Justin Williams put a charge into one.

Is it all Yankees against Wacha or are the Rays pulling their magic with a veteran pitcher again?
