This is what the reds get for not leaving in Antone

Me whenever I look at Buxton's stat line

A look at any recent game day thread will confirm the answer is yes.  Pretty much anything that doesn't violate the code of conduct is allowed in here.  We don't police CSB or BC as long as it's relev

Mahle and Antone really should be a pre-set piggyback.  Both can go like 4 innings, strike out half the batters they face and give up no runs lol

pulled him to put in Garrett to close the game and blows it up!

Yes you are right on Mahle and Antone

Wacha pitching like he throwing for the Home Run Derby. Seriously lucky he hasn't given up 5 or 6 bombs instead of 2.

I was intrigued with him going to the Rays and his elevated whiff % (up to 15% before this start) but this start was not good.

But he still limited the Royal somewhat. Everything was hit hard off him though. Would have like to see some K's

Did you see the 3-4 additional balls off the top of the wall that were singles and one that was a double?

Generated next to & swing or miss tonight either.

We'll have to see was just an off night stuff wise or what, but tonight was nothing but luck fueled.

By the way, that pitch Laureano hit on the final play looked like a pretty bad pitch down the middle. If he was going well he woulda shot it to the gap in left center. Instead he rolls it over to third. Sure sign of a slump is Ks + grounders.

Yes lucky. Maybe an off night? I think the Rays "pitching lab" has made him a better pitcher this year......??

Not that I can argue one way or another but this seems like a fun topic, who are your top 5?

SP - deGrom, cole, Bieber, Burnes, glasnow

RP - Hader, Chapman, Karinchak, Barnes, Whitlock, Clase, Knebel, Heur

Antone is elite but to act like he’s definitively top 5 is ridiculous.

My team isn’t hitting again and I have 0/8 yet to play.

Lindor & Baez.

I think I posted this one day to early. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.
