I didn't watch, but was Kershaw really that bad?  11 Ks (!), 6 hits and one walk over 6 innings, 71 strikes on 105 pitches, and in line for the W.  I'll take that.

Depends expectations.  Going 5 innings the last 3 games is underwhelming. Don't see comparing his performance  to Kershaw's is relevant.
